Id like to ask you all a question. In school, when you give a kid the complete answers to the work, what does he learn? All he does is copy them down, he doesnt realy even bother to look at them, so what in the world could that kid posible be learning from that?

what happened when the teacher refused to give you help when you asked, or better yet ignored you, or never called on you.

the teacher doesnt releate to anything I said. Teachers explain things to you, they dont give you the list of answers to fill in without thinking of. These newbs rarely even ask questions, they just do stuff like you demanding the removal of map protection witch wont teach them other than theivery.

If hte newbs asked questions about making maps, they get answered. look at all hte topics of hte same question about sapien not opening, we answer their questions, and if they asked questions about tags, those would get aswered aswell, so your point of questions is useless, and a lie; we help them when they ask, we just dont give htem something that wont teach them anything.

Thing is, this situation is different that that one. So you can't compare them.

your right, taking tags is worse. acleast with copying answers in school your hand acleast completes the motion of these things, this is acualy worse, thanks for pointing that out.

i agree until a serten level i am the kind of persoon who keeps his best tatgs away from he public and only let people use it who have an good use for it

I think given people your older tags which you dont use is an good thing but keep ur best tags to urself because good tags let your own map have that little bit extra wich makes it stadn mroe out then other maps (with tags i also mean model bitmaps ect)

If and when I get the contents of my old laptop recovered, I'll be distributing them to everyone. I got TONS of custom stuff for people to fudge around with.

first of all
you dont become on bad mapper by not sharing
you will get good if you practice hard or have talent for it

second
bad maps will appear anyway
only way to make them disapear if dennis would set an standard for maps wich is inpossible
because what makes an map bad

different people have different opinions
1 person likes cmt snowgrove and another hate it
like fasion
some people live by the latest fashion
i dont i jsut stick to my own style

what i am trying to say that you cant say that an map is bad because other persons may love it

you can only say if you like or dislike an map

third
why caps??...

fourth
you arent going to be flamed because you said what you think
if your flamed it's because of the wya you say it like using those cap words

fifth
why do you want people to correct your own mistakes?
aint it better if you correct them yourself

sixth
why do you bump an topic wich havetn been replied to for an freaking month
let it die already

and i dont think about anything when i protect my maps (whahaha victory)

and is it that bad to let people work a little so that they earn there own respect instead of hitchhiking on some1 else his respect (meaning using tags he/she/it made)

If you really wanted to know how to unprotect tags, do it yourself. And what unprotecter program? shows how much you know..

It was the version called Fail-safe, and unless you had an EXACT setup like mine, it wouldn't even open. :)
