I am working on a Valhalla Beta, it will be done a few days after I get working responses from the threads "are there any infinity base tags?" and "what the heck...". I dont know how to post pics, so you wont be able to see my map so far. I don't have the halo 3 weapons yet, nor do I have man cannons, but its better than nothing. The exact title is Valhalla_beta_v_1.0.

well if u dont post any pics then nobody will dload ur map which dont sound too promising anyway to be honnest if u cant make a base then how do u expect us to believe u can remake V

did you get two infinity base and put them in bloodgulch if so I beat you to it lol

This is a BETA. I am only testing how the map works and if people like it. Later I will release an enhanced version. But can anyone tell me how to post pics?

EDIT: This is NOT a remodled gulch. I dont even know how to edit maps, and I'm using gmax. I don't think gmax can even edit maps.

Wait wait. This is "Valhala"? With Infinity bases? Then its not Valhala. Please dont name it that. Think of your own name. If you do name it that, the next person who actually makes the real map cant use it because your map took the name.

That would be a pain in the butt.
Name it like...Infinalla

WHAT'S THE DIFFERECE BETWEEN INFINITY AND VALHALLA BASES!?!? The only difference I found was an interior. Does that really make a difference?

And a texture job like teh Heavy Pelican I'm working on has for a majority of it....

Why dont you make a base. I dont even have halo 3.

Why make a map you havent played?

As opinions go I rate this a dismall failure due to lack of empathy and the inability to recognize that other people have differnt tastes in maps then you do.

Even more, how could you remake something you've never played? Same as saying your rewriting a book you've never read.

EDIT: well, it is posible with enough referances, I do it once and a while, but you are never gonna get it acurate if you don't ever acualy try the thing your remaking (im talking about how im working on forge, but acleast ive got hundreds of friends to talk about what you can do unlike this where your remaking a whole terain and item placement to something you've never played)

For some reason...I'm thinking Bungie won't make a Halo 3 PC because they see us basicly making the whole game....multiplayer, that is. My mind takes me on wild rides a lot.

well just take a look....bungies halo3 beta didnt have the bases they used for the last game ......actually the BSP was done allready....

also they fixed some efects and some other things

The only thing I don't have good references to are the bases.

This is how:

Im telling you, people are going to download this map and see "Oh its another lame mod of bloodgulch my baby sister could make, I dont want this" (Drags to trashcan). It wont run on any servers because youll be the only one playing it. People want the REAL Valhala. For example..... What would you want? Halo 3 used for free? Or Halo 3 new for free? Samething.

someones already making it, and the BSP looks EXACTLY like in halo 3.

I think I saw it at the WIP thread over at h2vista.

Thats for H2V but will most likely port it to HCE.

There's a team calling themselves "H3CE" who are working on a Valhalla for custom edition. It looks quite nice so far.

again i tought h2 ce team was the end

If you can give links to these other Valhalla [WIP]'s, please do.
