ok this is my model of the brute spiker,plzz leav comments and dont mock just tell me what i need to do to make it look better though i think it looks good already ,though i need help with bitmaping , animation, effects and so on if u think im lazy and think i should make them my self plzz point me to some tuts! here are my pics of the brute spiker.

search will point u to some tuts..........


the blades are very thin and horrible....use a reference pic from a side view.....OR if u have halo3, go into the theater mode and take a side view screenie of it

nice spiker i think i will re make the blades and do as u said make it thiker

ok heres my edit

ok i reedid the brute spikers blades and i must say it looks much beter ty, i had a look at ur brute spiker and moded mine up a little hope you dont mind. and people what do u think about my model? here is a pic with beter blades and front bit (dont know what you call it i will call it the shooting bits lol)

that part with the rings near the handle, thats a separate piece. its the ammo drum

ok thanx i will change it first thing in the morning i got ta get some more reference pics because i havent got halo 3 and cant get gd ones (reference pics that is) but i will search the internet.

edit:

ok i have now done the bit u said i must do tell me wht u think because it was a quicky if u think its bad i will do a much beter 0ne 2moz when i wake up

That part connecting the blade to the gun is too...ovaly..Make it a circle.

Eeeewwww. That makes bungie look bad.... Look at some more refence pictures. There are so many things wrong on it. The blades come to a pont.... there not sapose to be a block. The handle has so many problems in it. It looks like crap. Start over.

on the bottom of the handel, thats a blade, not a dent thing. its still not the best but it looks much better with a texture

I think you should completely re-make the blades and use photoshop to make your bitmaps not paint
other wise this is pretty good

ok i have redone the brute spiker i tryed to add bitmas but they looked like sh1t though i am learning to make nice onces but would like to know what u think about my new model.

Better.... But A, the sights are further forward, B, the blades are still ovaly at teh connection point, and C, teh blades seem to point out funny.

ya teamhalo2 nice texturing and i have already started on making the projectiles gold and also taking the needlers projectile and using it and taking the sound and explosion effects away though thank you for for the help i will also do the hud though I'm not good at it but will try to go into allot of detail .
