Send me out...with a bang.

I have an idea for a map, but I don't want to take the time to try to make it (I'm still in the process of learning) if no one is going to like it. Please give me feedback on what you think about it and any idea you have to improve it.
My idea comes from a game called Rakion (I doubt anyone here plays it) and a map called Gravity I think, because it has gravity lifts that take you to different levels. I'll try to describe it as best I can.
The map is a big room made of stone. The bases are directly opposite each other, but you can see the other team's base. This is because there are two towers, one for each base. Once you spawn the tower is about 10 yards away from you, you can either take a ladder to the top of the tower, or go to the middle of the map which is open. If you go up the ladder to the top of the tower, directly in front of you will be a narrow bridge leading to the other team's base. This bridge is around 30 yards long and it has a gap halfway through. If you jump this gap you will eventually end up at the other base, if you fall through this gap you will fall through the middle of the map to an underground room. This room is open and about the same size as the level above it and is fairly dark with torches in various places for light. To get out of this underground room you have to take ladders (unless grav lifts are possible?) to the second/main level of the map. The ladders are diagonal each other, when you first start to climb there is open space around you, about 10 yards up you are enclosed by stone and another 10 yards you are to the second/main level once again. On the main level there are two small structures opposite each other just to give you a bit of leverage over your enemy. In the walls in various places there are big windows you can teleport to, but not go out of, just see out of and stand on/snipe from the ledge.
Sorry if I was unclear about some things, if your confused I'll try to explain it better or make a rough sketch of what it would look like.
All advice, questions, and criticisms are welcome.

sounds like a good indoor map, with normal weapon set.

grav lifts usually don't sync, but people are working on ways to get them to, and it might be possible. but until then you'll have to scratch that. maybe you could use teleporters.

Well grav lifts weren't really the original plan anyway, just an idea. I'm gonna have to worry about getting the modeling part (bsp?) done first.

Update:

I'll probably add more detail to different areas, but that's the gist of how one of the bases would look, the other one will be exactly the same.
