ok when i structer my map in tool it says '### warning:a surface clipped to no leaves (see cyan in error geometry)' but it compiles the map and so on and when i go in sapian and run radiosity check it says 'radiosity error: degenerate triangles[or trianglr with bad uvs] (see blue in error geomatry) what do i do to fix this? plzz help

lol Sel what kind of answer was that , he is getting the bad uvx error. u need to (in 3ds max) import the debug.wrl from ur haloce folder and uncheck the 3 boxes. look for blue errors in uvw.

ok cheers dat is alot of help i dnt know wht ta do whit da degenerate triangles but i will find out how ta fix it and i just found error fixing tuts so maby it will show me how 2 fix it on there

ok just STOP. read his 1st post. he got the model or bsp throuh the structure so DONT MESS WITH THE STRUCTURE ANYMORE. DONT MOVE ANYTHING. u have no degenerate triangles if tool did not tell u that there were some when u did tool structure levels\ .The only problem u have is the radiosity u just need to redo the UVW on the blue parts when import the debug.txt. Also i never run lightmaps/radiosity in Sapien as its soooo slooooow. I always use the tool lightmaps levels\name\name name 0 0.9 command in cmd. Stop giving bad advice!

thank u all!!! that all helps and my map works thanks for telin me about usin tool for radiosity though i knew it already i just dnt know how ta do it on tool++ couse dats wht i use but i will use normall tool for doin lightmaps
