No they couldn't... Its Microsoft/Bungie's property once its gone through Tool... Anyway, Snow grove is a mod of Grove Final... So, you could mod Grove Final, and make it look like Snow Grove... And they can't do anything except complain really...

if you protect something, that usually meens u dont want everyone using it, and also when you protect tags in halo ce and pc maps, its like a copyright and a lock on it, meaning that you are not allowed to use, edit, or sdo any of the such without the creators permission or consent. violation can result in a lawsuit

All of CMT's weapons except for their sniper is either a weapon originally made by bungie or based off of a weapon made by bungie so they do not own it anyway.

Its in the EULA. Anything incorporated into Halo, is property of Microsoft.

Heh heh, I take it you've never seen my (Unofficial) UMT Snow Grove.
It looks so much like CMT's version that Dennis even called it a Snow Grove variant, though it's really a Grove_final variant.
And to think it took me about 5 minutes to do that. Shows you how much effort CMT actually puts into their maps.
CMT is technically no better then Hogfaggot, they both do (crappy, but that's just my opinion) mods, only difference is Hogfaggot rips with no credit.
I am only passing judgment on maps that have been already released, I will reserve judgment on SPV2 until when I see it.
If it looks like it does in the most recent screenies of A30 (Halo), I will hate CMT for all eternity.

But theirs wasnt really a varient things were re-modelled such as the high cliff walls, frozen waterfall, extra bridges etc. It obviousily didnt take them 5 minutes as it looks so much better, better weapons etc. Look at the downloads CMT Snow Grove 14459 then UMT Snow Grove 161, I know there is 4 months difference but i doubt it will get 14298 in that time, CMT Snow Grove is always on servers so it obviousily is a good map.


CMT use to be like hogfaggot when masterz ripped everthing(i heard) but now they have people specalized in certain areas to do the things that they are good at which makes maps like they do. So what if they are mods, mods CMT make are always better than the original maps, when a map is modded it usually 99% ends up being worse than the original.

Ha Jay I wouldn't be talking crap about CMT. Lets look at their team compared to your team. Hmm UMT there maps are usually half done while CMT takes time to make sure EVERYTHING is in place and great quality. All those videos you saw of A30 are all BETAS. Obviously they won't look good. So next time you want to Criticize CMT first look at what your about to say and make sure it has a good point. Because right me it sounds like the only reason you hate CMT is because they are doing way better than UMT and that UMT is going down the drain. Jealous much???

Well let's see...for one, H2_Coagulation has more downloads and sometimes, it seems like it has no lag, other times, it lags like heck. I will admit, I kinda like CMT_Coagulation better, but no one plays it...

I don't feel like downloading this. RPG Beta 4 was just a giant map with a flying ship and some modded weapons where no one actually fought.
