You going to incorporate Armourlock? SeanTheLawns tags need a little editing, but their good. Secondly, will there be assassinations? Otherwise, great work

1. 99% sure there is no Armor Lock (Thank God)
2. CMT only uses their own content. They don't take other tags.
3. 99% sure there's no assassinations.

EDIT: Prepare for some pretty cool pic leaks that we're gonna do a ton of speculation on.

They were revealed in the live stream and will be shown here in a few days. Patience is a virtue. They're worth the wait.

Have to agree with RabbitFood, waiting is the key.

I dont understand why theres so much bloom in the picture. It makes it look worse then it actually is.

I also agree with the water edge - this can easily be fixed by taking the ground near the end make it come up closer to the water as it gets farther out, or by taking the water plane and bringing it in some from the ground so you can see it kind of at an angle.

Maybe the bloom is set to 'high'? Certainly on CMT-A50 the bloom gets a bit excessive at times on that setting, but hell, it can just be turned off if it's unpleasant.

That's because it is a painting. That is the sky from TSC:E, painted by Con, the legendary skybox artist. His other work can be seen in Revelations and Lumoria. Masterz is using it for his b30-related spv3 maps.

One thing I am hoping for is that the classic version of TSC has an extended exterior.

Since CMT is still working on getting those pictures to us, am I the only one here who didn't notice that the Needler's reticle changes when it hovers over a target?

It is after all a WIP, I can assure you 100% it won't be there in the final version.

We can't edit original geometry, but as far as bloom goes our control over it isn't the greatest. None of the bloom settings are final and all of it is planned to change. You can also manually control bloom via console.

Nothing extended for TSC or Library. Since they both have evolved variants the new geometry is for them, and not for the Classic versions.

I'm confused. It sounds like the Evolved version of The Silent Cartagrapher is no longer recieving the SPV3 treatment (as in the SPV3 version will be using the classic layout). I also noticed that TSC:Evolved is in the UUI twice. Once in the root CMT menu, and again in the SPV3 menu. Could someone please clarify whats going on?

To clarify on your first question TSC:E is not part of SPV3. It is a completely new and custom experience. It only uses some of the graphical art and weapon models SPV3 has, and yes I do mean models because many weapons behave differently.

SPV3's B30 (Or The Silent Cartographer) will be the stock B30 map with some additional items like recharging stations and new AI, but will not include new BSP areas.

As to TSC:E being in the menu twice, it is still a CMT product so it falls under the CMT menu. Why it's under the SPV3 menu makes little to no sense to me, perhaps just an oversight of Moose's or to make things readily accessible all in one place. That's just speculation on my part however.

I repeat, because CMT gets tired of the confusion, TSC:E is not SPV3. Neither is any of the other evolved maps.

I realize TSC:E is not SPV3. But, Masters1337 said a while back that the SPV3 version of B30 would use the Evolved BSP. I was just asking if that was no longer the case.

Well all I know is that C20:Evolved uses the SPV3 tagset as well as D30:Evolved, I'm pretty sure D25 also uses the SPV3 tagset.
TSC:E is the "only" Evolved map that uses the Evolved tagset.
EDIT: I also thought that too austen.

yeah things have changed, SPV3 includes a SPV3ified version of the original TSC, as well as a SPV3ified version of TSC:E, without the Evolved tagset. Simply that mission, but with SPV3 content.

There are currently three versions of b30 theoretically in production:

TSC:E

SPV3: TSC: Classic

SPV3: TSC: Evolved

The spv3 team wanted to have a version of b30 with and without the new "evolved" bsp from TSC:Evolved. Therefore there would be two spv3 variants of b30, one using the original stock bsp and the other using the newer Evolved bsp.

Great, so now I gotta beat TSC 3 times on Legendary. On the other hand I really wanted to use the DMR on the TSC:E map, so I guess I'll have the chance now.

Question: Is the AR/GL only for TSC:E, or will it be a rare weapon like the BR/GL in SPV3?

In SPV3 GL weapons are only available via loadout. So if you want to use them, you need to hold them the whole map and use your ammo intelligently until you reach the next ammo cache. It's kind of like how the Sniper was done in stock T&R, as well as the Sniper and RL in AOTCR where if you don't hold onto it wisely, you will never get it again. Same goes for the Shotgun up until flood levels.

Ya know, Masterz, what exactly is your job in the CMT? I only have a very broad view of what you do (Or at least what I think you do) and that's editing and changing things like AI and weapon spawns for better gameplay.
