The enviro looks pretty nice but also very cluttered. It's also kind of hard to see the scale with even having a reference of anything in pictures like that (covy crate, MC, elite, etc.)

Evolved is it's own custom tagset, while SPV3 is another. Everything you've seen from B30:E is using the evolved tagset, anything from other levels, as well as things I've posted are from SPV3.

The cliff wall textures, and the ground textures are placeholder for the most part, especially UV's. We are already planning to do the Mantis in the second part of campaign.
So I need some feedbaack from you all on the T&R release, what were your thoughts on the alternate brute and elite encounters? I've heard good arguments for and against them, the for being people liking that it's unpredictable and you cant memorize what is coming next, and I've heard from the people that dislike it complaining that it makes it to hard to have a strategy. I am personally for them, as I don't really like when people know for sure what is coming next and much rather them have to react to unpredictable, yet fair situations.

I like the alternation, but the way they fight feels so similar in combat, and yet the brutes are easier to fight. there needs to be something for the standard variations that will make you be like (oh crap I gotta watch out for when he does that!) like how in halo 2, the brutes would beserk and it would be slightly difficult to kill them or pull off a head shot because of their charging and speed towards you
