Yeah, we also have the helmets in place for the Ultra Grunts, since we may do Specop Jackals to replace Specop Grunts in the second half of Campaign.

on a side note... is there a fix for spv2 a30? when you jump down the hole of the forerunner structure that is in that pond far into the level?

I remember when everyone had that problem haha, brilliant. It's not actually a problem it's a feature put in to make the player feel more BA.

Huh? The exception error was placed in there on purpose? I remember running into it the first time while using OS, and I just decided that the level was broken, and not meant to work with OS, so I just never touched it again.

beat the level, now if only I could have pickups available after destroying everything, love the blue caves though. and being able to hijack ghosts and banshees on a level other than tscV2

wait, they had implemented hijacking already on the old a30 beta? I remember watching that livestream of masterz jacking vehicles on the cmt testmap but I never remembered actually being able to do it in the beta.

I think the majority of SPV2 Beta maps out there aren't actually ours, are are at least 6 months old before we disbanded.

That exception was an accident that arose when Lodex was working on the map, I am pretty sure the entire mission is playable though.

they did, you need OS for it to work, but it's there, I did it on b30 as well. of course it was easy cuz the ai wasn't moving

I think I saw a fuel-rod grenade in the H2SPP thing at CE3, but that is infinitely less-cool than the EMP grenade. It basically worked like a throwable rocket.

Edit: I went back and looked and I guess what I saw was an older version of the cluster grenade, my mistake. You can see it in this video at 1:51, 2:46, and 4:01 even though most lens flares/effects aren't showing up and it's hard to figure out what is happening.

The bubble shield was originally similar to a grenade, rather than being a big piece of equipment.

wouldn't mind seeing a forerunner grenade type, something sentinels and the like could launch at the player. But something tells me CMT'd rather just have 3 covenant grenade types.

I will be modeling it in the future. Currently have the Boltshot, Binary Rifle and Light Rifle fully modeled :)

Flashbangs were something I considered, but didn't want to do because it would be really annoying for the player, and wouldn't effect flood and hunters. Plus I liked our other ideas better in terms of how they'd be used against the player.

I was going to do them the same way we did the cluster grenades, but make them stick to bipeds so the biped would panic like they do when stuck. Also needle grenades were an idea too but I didn't want something that resource intensive.
