Yes, the function of bloom is generally well-known.
Regardless of whether or not OS' bloom functions were active when I took that picture (contrary to Masterz' statement I think it actually was) it's certainly not the focus of the image and its presence certainly is not very big. Open Sauce allows tweaking of bloom settings (or disabling it if it's not your thing) on both the mapmaker and player's side, so regardless of what's going on there it can be easily changed.

I was just saying that the glow of the shields and overall graphics looked nicer then normal halos graphics were capable of. It was intended as a complement Edited by grunt_eater on Nov 15, 2011 at 11:45 PM

So, I was wondering if we'd see any sentinel enforcers, or some other variant of enemy like drones or something?

well i dont know if they would be pointless after all it would be awesome to get in the map and start it on legendary mode and pass The silent Cartographer or Assault on the control room with a skull effect on such as black eye ,grunt birthday partyy or sputnik skull the what i dont know is if CMT add them will they have a skull option on the menu or it would be like you need to pick up the skull first or both either way that would be just freaking awesome as well if possible terminals with more Halo history or something but idk about the last one and i dont think CMT add them though it would make cmt spv3 maps better than spv2 or spv1 in gameplay and not just graphics which is right now the major difference between them
Hope to get an answer from any CMT member to know if you are going to add skulls/terminals/or hidden weapon(superweapons) if possible

I was just looking through some of tehlag's old stuff when I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wEvdDNJ5Bs It would be really cool if SPV3 incorparated some of these things in some custom cutscenes (if your going to have any custom cutscenes) Especially the ODST and Jackal execution and the Elite tank hijack (or even have that as a highjack anim for the elites with OS)

Quote: The gameplay is substantially different from SPV2 what i meant its that some mainly the story its the same and you will probably use the same bsp or fix or update the bsp the only real changes will be on effects and abilities such as the hijack(which is my favorite by the way) but thats mainly what its going to change because as you said you are going to use the same models of elites from cmt spv2 maybe you will update grunts and sentinels but mostly outside the os scripting possibilites its the same thing that spv2 but what im asking its simple to answer are there any possibilities of you adding skulls/terminals/ or more easter eggs to the maps Edited by LMT Heretic on Nov 17, 2011 at 08:19 PMEdited by LMT Heretic on Nov 18, 2011 at 08:26 PM

Will SPV3 guide players more than the original campaign, with additional navpoints? SPV2 guided players a lot less than the original campaign and was just confusing and frustrating.

Cause it (the hair, which should be a comb) looks like crap imo, use your brain Skid. I don't care if YOU don't care, I don't care if others don't care. It's feedback for the maker, not for mindless idiots like Skidrow. I also don't care if the maker takes it to heart or not. I'm offering my opinion just because I can. The shields look great though.

...so since there are sharpshooter jackals does that mean there is going to be CMT beam/focus rifle or some sort of new covenant sniper? or is it just carbines?

I think the beam rifle worked well in Halo 2 on normal difficulty. 2 shots could kill you but the jackals were made so that there was some time between each shot. On higher difficulties it could simply shoot a bit faster but keep that similar mecanic rather than the 1 shot kill on halo 2 legendary.

masters what i meant to say was that a focus rifle or even a moded weapon that kill worked like a sniper weapon of the covenant without the instant kill making it a usefull weapon in gameplay for the player in case to kill from a far distance without being to hard to fight against a covenant wielder

My personal opinion is the they both suck, the beam rifle is no different than the human sniper other than there being no reload, and the focus rifle just well... sucks. If CMT ever wanted a Covenant sniper gun, I'd be pushing for something new and unique. But that's not happening anytime soon.

i know but it would be cool because you would make a better covie sniper rifle with a far better gameplay than the one of the focus rifle and the beam rifle but well i rather the carbine anyway so as far as you use or upgrade the carbine im and i guess that most players will be happy

Will most, if not all, weapons in the mod show up with the cheat_all_weapons command? It would be fun to just experiment and throw some new colors and flavors into gameplay if we had most or all weapons at our disposal throughout the entire campaign with a command. It's not like it would hinder anything the team desired if this were implemented; it's nice to be flexible and let players decide how they want to enjoy this piece of work in their own ways.
E: Oh, what do you have planned, at this exact point, for the sentinel beam(s)? (I know it's a bit early to start thinking about it considering how A50 is what's being worked on.) Edited by Slyr_Bleach on Nov 19, 2011 at 07:23 PM
