player_magnetism 1 works for me as well, and it didn't even require OS!!!! I just use a standard xbox 360 wired controller that works on PC as well. Feels just like playing on xbox now with the working magnetism.
Something tells me Kirby found this hidden command?
Edit: also, do you think there's a command to enable rumble on the controller as well? That would really complete the experience. Edited by TM_updates on Nov 13, 2011 at 06:29 AM

It also works with joysticks. (Yes I have played with a joystick) Also if you can find a way to script an "aimbot" type thing for extras that would be funny. E: I dunno why that always happens when quoteing you... Edited by Skidrow925 on Nov 13, 2011 at 02:01 PM

I have a wired xbox controller that works with halo fine (no joy2key or anything). I've always been worse with the controller than with the mouse+kb but with magnetism I would probably use it in sp. Please enable vibration! Edited by SlappyThePirate on Nov 13, 2011 at 01:27 PM

But unfortunatly from what I've seen from the Cyborg and Elite they have just had a simple retexture it's nothing great compared to the jackals skin I really hope it's just a simple place holder I don't care if they don't do anything with the Cyborg because there's nothing amazing texture wise you could do with his armour but I really hope they make the Elite textures the same quality compared to the Jackals skin.

I saw the new shield hit effects. i thought that the bipeds in that video were just place holders...Maybe that's my bad... i still hope that the elites get a bran, spankin', new model, like the pimped jackals.

The elites have the new model and textures we did for SPV2. They have some sexy new shaders, but as far as any significant overhauls for them... there are many other things that need a higher priority.

Oh, question. did it require scripting for the hunter shielding behavior? Edited by grunt_eater on Nov 14, 2011 at 05:57 PM

And Hunter's are all tagged based. Edited by Masters1337 on Nov 14, 2011 at 08:41 PM

Sweet, so it didn't take scripting to make them shield...i'm guessing it's animation based then. i'm asking because i'm wanting to make something similar to it, only with a different race. Edited by grunt_eater on Nov 14, 2011 at 08:38 PM

I explained how I set them up in the first video showing them off: Quote: This behavior is accomplished by setting the shielding-poses to be in the unit's "flee" animation state, and then having the actors use the "flee" state when they berserk or get close to an enemy. (There are flags/properties in actor tags that do both of those things)

A comparison of the jackals between Halo Reach and CMT's version. Please note that I got the Reach jackal quickly off google so it's not amazing quality. Also, if anybody has CEA and can get a picture of the CEA jackals, that'd be much better ;) Edited by Jaz on Nov 15, 2011 at 03:27 PM

I know that, but bloom changes the way light effects it surroundings in video games. It smears it off a little bit making a 3-D glow
