Lol, jk, but seriously though, I'm surprised that only ONE vidoc has been released for Halo 4, and nothing more, and already people are making things from it for Halo CE. I still have yet to see Reach maps, good weapons from it, and the pelican from Reach and Halo 3 and 2.

All the outlines are way too bright and way too solid, look at the screenshots and compare them to yours.

Are you EVER going to release something with those? Or just release those? Because, really, those are the best forerunner textures for CE I've ever seen. EVER.

Thats just perfect to make a large structure using a shader with detail map, so we can make rusty parts here and there fitting the same bumps and speculars

Since I am sticking around this forum for a bit again to keep myself updated with Hunter's new work, (Glad you got going again man).... I decided it would be cool to post some of the work I have been workin at. I started off as a really crappy member on this forum ( like many others) and this is a testament that if you stick to what you do, you can really learn a lot and a achieve a lot.

Bunch of other works to show, but this is my latest "almost" complete work.
Believe it or not, old halo maps members now work for game studios. So doing mods here, to learn how to model/texture/draw isn't a waste. Anyways, back to work.

Hope you guys like wheelie. :)

@Mastur Cheer: It actually took about a week or so of real hours put into it. The total time spanned over a couple months, but I hardly would touch this for only a few hours at a time.

Easy to do once you cut the lines in editable poly and inset.

It's all normal mapped in, and pretty much I just went and cut, inset, etc, shapes into the higher poly version, and beveled the shapes outwards at 45 degree angles, then baked those into a low poly.

I use the cut tool like 10% of the time... it is not as simple as you make out... other wise you would see every man and his dog doing hem easily...

Easy for me at least since I watched a million high poly modeling tutorials. Granted my imagination never really approached what i needed to do anything good. :P

Don't see how doing squats is a bad thing, unless you're a nerd who doesn't get out much. Then it's irrelevant.
