Because to start with, you got the origional pelican skin and changed the Hue/Saturation, but you checked the colourize box... so you made the WHOLE skin one colour, when Hue/Saturation without the Colourize boxed checked would just change the grey metal colour (Might of changed other colours a bit).

The sad thing is you said you did almost ALL of the work... so changing Hue/Saturation seems to paint a texture from scratch does it?

And second, you select afew parts and turn the saturation all the way down. Actually, you even kept the engine parts where the jets come from a greenish colour. It just looks like a blurry pelican gone moldy...

Instead of claiming the skin as your own, next time, make your own...

Is anyone working on a Hornet that will soon be open sourced. I am looking for something, other than the wasp, for a flight vehicle that is human themed.

maybe it can be used as an AA platform in maps, where it has missiles that lock on to vehicles (with some complex scriptiing of course).
I got the idea when trying to make the driver of the missilehog in hugeass be able to use the missiles at the back.

It doesn't take complex scripting to get it to home on vehicles, you can make it home easily, the problem is that it homes on bipeds also.

yes there is one, but of course you can make that, or this MLRS for a change.
and actually, there is a small fix to the MLRS being able to lock on to bipeds.
Just make its turret have a fixed angle limit so that it can only point up, not down.
Basically, the MLRS is mainly used for anti-aircraft purposes, so i don't really see the point of making it able to point down like the hog's chaingun.
Also, in a real team game, the MLRS should be protected by its teammates, not just left alone to fend for itself.

Actually no they're not his skins, they're from a Halo Trial mod that's like 3 years old. (Battle Base Mod) I'm sure he would've tried to take credit if you guys thought it was a good skin.

no, that's not the point! The MLRS is meant to be a movable mobile AA platform, not a stationary object. That would be called a SAM site.

Of course, you can make the MLRS slower than a hog for gameplay purposes, but it has to be mobile.

I picture this replacing the tank in a map like Seige or Atephobic. Expecially if it was lobbing projectiles in an arc like the wraith does.

this applies, unless the MLRS is being used for AA purposes like in hugeass. That wouldn't be firing in a arc, it would be firing the missile straight all the way.

The cage thing on the outside can be done with planes and bitmaps. Because the bars look pretty thin.

And you can set it up so that the flash light button will open the door.

each of the bars of the slatguard on the outside are supposed to be a little thinner (in terms of height, not their thickness), and there should be more grates than this (if going according to the pic of a real apc that you provided us with).

Yeah I think it would look better with bitmaps and alphas insted of the "fruitcrate" thing.

Less polly usage and it would probably look better.

I know what Fruit crates on APC's do, yours is just a little too think on the individual lines across, otherwise looks good

I know Advancebo worked in a while back, since I remember giving him the model. Don't think it was released though. (Don't quote me on that)
