Gauss hogs do not produce flame when fired. They do however have a distortion field that should emanate from the projectile contrail. Remember, it is magnetic not explosive.

Hes gonna remake it, I gave him some refs yesterday. And I explained the stuff to him about explosives/magnetism.

Couldn't you use, to make a better firing affect, like a bubble about the cannon when fired to make it distort?

True, it would take more effort than really needed even though the affects would be sort of cool.

I wouldn't say stupid and boring, but I would recommend more of a blurry looking affect coming from the muzzle rather than having it spike out like a plasma grenade affect.

* fix the blurred tread model
* more importantly, need to reskin the walrus (hull)

If anyone can help me out on some of these things, I'd appreciate it.

*In concept, it is a chaingun with a missile pod attachment. Any missile pod off the battlefield will do, as long as it is removed from its tripod. Due to its length and weight, the pod is fixed. being unable to rotate up or down. However, this doesn't prove to be an issue as the tripod it is normally fixed to also prevents up and down rotation; meaning, its homing capabilities will be able to compensate for this restriction. Conceptually, the missile turret will be ideal for long range combat (somewhat), but is mostly effective against aircraft. Usage of both the chaingun and missile pod are critical (unlike the h1 scorpion's secondary fire)

you have to look in the direction you want the line to go, you have to constantly move the view to model in it, its simple once you egt the hang of it =P
good for very quick concepts
