Personally, ripping is not a bad thing =P Doesnt mean your a bad person or bad at modeling generally, just means its another model.

I edited the HMNP to be a pelican and not a banshee, so it hovers, and u fly up with space, and down with control, i think it's more Halo 3-ish. but thats just me, also your axle is like on the wing? You spin on the wing, move the frame forward 9or hornet and markers back, so it spins around the cockpit, and not the tail, i've noticed everyones phantoms do that aswell. yes, it seems the physics was a mix of pelican and banshee - , but the vehicle seems more assault than troop support, so the hover didn't make sense - but it has a very slow reverse which could be used as hover. But, with the axis at that point, it allows for stock camera tracks - which are simple to edit (albeit time consuming to compile and see results) but also to prevent view blocking and errors, such as the tail blocking your reticle.
When extracted from zip files, and sometimes from maps, the mongoose animations file gets funkified, (as does the rotors on the hornet, and many other vehicles when extracted or unzipped) - on the mongoose, delete and re-add the first "units" section, label is "stand" all other values are 0, then re-place in sapien - if it doesn't work, pm me your email and I will send you the tags in a non-compressed zip file.
On the hornet, if the rotors stop spinning, don't edit the animations, just delete the "A Out" turbines function, then re-add with identical values, voila - weird guerilla/sapien magic.
I don't have the mongoose model in 3ds - ask matooba, he may add a passenger seat marker (pretty sure he made the model, but not dead certain) he does good work. The hornet model is available here as a released model 3ds max from Hunter/Ball/Whatsisface.
Yes, the hornet has 2 seats, 1 on each strut, but - they are set to only be valid with a driver (I changed those as well - to allow you to view 360 and shoot 180 - used the scorpion labels, but after a few flyovers - you will see why I did that - other tags had 30 degree pitch limit, you could ride, but not shoot down as a passenger to the ground beneath you.

I've been thinking about creating some new vehicles for Halo: Custom Edition, so here's a few of my concepts:
Name: M12X1 Anti-Armor Vehicle Description: A variant of the famed "Gauss 'Hog". The main cannon has been replaced by a turret-mounted laser. Armaments: Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Model 6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: M800 "Snub Tank" Description: Shares many similarities with the standard Scorpion, although on a somewhat smaller scale. The turret has been reduced to a less elongated state, and the barrel has been drastically shortened. While it's main gun is slightly less powerful, it makes up for this with a decreased load time (2.5 seconds) and superior speed and maneuverability. It's shells are also more accurate, although it is suggested to aim above the target when firing at extreme range. The tread bogeys have been pulled in closer to the main chassis. The antennae and external sensor array have been removed, forcing the user to rely more on visual confirmation. Armaments: 75mm Cannon, Integrated M247 GP .30 Caliber Coaxial Machine Gun Other Features: Increased speed and manueverability, at the cost of armor plating.
Notes: The flat section utilized for transporting additional treads will be removed, and the angular nose section will be pulled back to fill the gap, reducing the overall length of the vehicle. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, I'd probably release them, because they'd fill so many of those combat roles no one seems to focus on. The Snub Tank would be great for a map where you didn't want to go all-out by including a Scorp, but felt the Rocket Hog lacked the punch you required. The Laser Hog is basically a more balanced Gauss Hog, because while the individual beams are more powerful, it requires a brief charge period and cool-down time. And the Stinger is just something I came up with when I saw that tank from the first page of this thread. I wanted a good mobile weapons platform. And it had to have lazers. >:D

I used to play that map perdis perdu a lot and it had a drivable wraith in it if I am not mistaken. And there are lots of other maps that have wraith in them I think as well but perdis perdu was by far my favorite map with them.
