Well if he was aiming for recreating the Legendary visor, and his effort is accurate to the version in H4, then he achieved his desired effect.

i am assuming hes using the rig i made witch had that visor color witch is game acuret sins in the halo 4 sp mcs visor is orange not gold

Did you make the bitmaps? A friend gave me the .gbxmodel and bitmaps, I just put them all together and made the shaders with some custom bitmaps of mine. It's a good rig!

EDIT: The bitmap I'm using, the visor is orange with a purple tint around the edges.

awesome ass good as the ones me and jack did y did i not finish it yet? may be i got bord of it or save it for a awesome acation. still i need help loking for very good refs for the halo wars spartan and awesome metal textures.

Here's a tip for ya:

Make the visor less reflective (that's how it is in H4)

In fact, everything except the bodysuit could be less reflective.

Lol, there's no cubemap whatsoever on the armor or bodysuit. Only the visor has a cubemap.

You should probably try taking it out.

The way I see it, the Legendary visor is pretty much pure specular.

No, you don't. Many of my OS shaders are pure specular and they show up just fine.

What do you mean the game was not meant for it? The blue channel of the Multipurpose map IS a specular map.
