Shader update:



Probably will upload these this week. Open Sauce is required to see the shader extensions. (They only show up in a compiled map, NOT in Sapien)

I'm not nearly as good as some of you guys, but I've managed to do some custom illumination on the dark shaders, looks ok to me:




This also has custom cubemap, so it's not what you are used to seeing.

edit: very very sexy shaders Delta . . . just ignore my crap, heh

The orange one looks almost exact.

if someone wants to put bump maps on my now finished spartan i am happy to give it to them. Open sauce will not install on my computer. not because theres something wrong with the program but because my old f**k up computer blocks windows installer for some reason now.

Now you just need to get the shield shaders right, see what you can do with OS with them, it might just be insane.

Nice. Fix up your decal by ticking the flag at the top of the shader model called 'alpha blended decal'. is that a desaturated colour change or open sauce? Looks awesome.

Completely started over, new diffuse, new multi, new illumination, I think it's much better, but lacking the grunge/damage that I want to add:

Those are pretty good actually, you're not using OS though? Anyways you should take the pics in a brighter area or brighter map. That and make the armor a little brighter.

In due time, you know 2012 is a new year so I probably will.

Also fixing up the rig on the reach spartan but it's hard too since the reach spartan really wasn't ment for the h1 spartan bone structure.

those fp arms are old, theres a better one without the errors on the hand plate. i wanna say its in the big rig pack that odx? i believe released?

Hth I did those a year or two ago. I purposely kept them because without them they would damn fugly back when we didn't have OS. I can always open 3ds max up and quickly fix it.
