Really all I did was take my old shaders, change the diffuse and multi to not be fake bumped, added the normal, and tweaked the brightnesses. That's all I did no specular involved.

Yeah I just thought that the person didn't know what they were doing becuase the biped shaders sucked :/ no offense.
I've only set those properties when you do lighting on bsp's,not sure why people set it on dynamic objects like characters??

The blue given to the blue team in CTF in HCE is a darker and more saturated blue than the blue given to the blue team in CTF in Halo 2+, I think.

Lol well darklord has been helping me with getting the metal more metal like and is currently helping me with cc to get more like reach colours. I think I'm gonna make a custom illum map and put it on the Spartans. And yeah this is dark lords saPien. @hiralis it actually looks pretty good though it is hard to see. though hes not doing the shaders for me but helping me. hes teaching me how to shader properly by helping me learn how to use colour change and helping my shaders look more like the metal since my other ones were to smooth and vibrant etc. I never intend to work against people for example, spartan_094 but to do this as a project for fun.

he only redid them because i didnt have the original texture files any more since my hardrive was wiped. He didnt make my shaders either all my shaders either. im not trying to rob darklord of credits either. I intended to give full credit where needed and i only wanted help since i dont kno what im doing in colourchange. He also suggested that he would help make my shaders look like real steel to. I also made a difference to the spartan to and not a "small change" as well.

Stop halo_life, I don't care if people compare mine to cheddars, he is having fun, I'm having fun. It doesn't matter if he is getting help, let him do his thing. Fun is fun, besides I only poked at him for not having lights. Even though my shaders are very old by 6 months I think oh well.
