trying to learn more about action constrains, ik pole targets and rigging in general. may be a while before another update. may work more on the mesh or try my hand at a few other characters from the same universe.. no promises though

About the "sad" eye shape of the biped, I think it actually looks pretty cool that way. I would keep it as is in that respect. Also, Ithink the mouth area needs more polygons.

on that topic I've been trying to figure out a way to do the mouth like I want. ideally I'd want something like the mouth in this crappy concept piece I whipped up in like ten minutes deleted basically, I want more "ridges" on the sides when it's more open, rather than just being triangular, but have it triangular when it's closed. theoretically I could add more verts on the mouth and try to shape it, but I don't know if my topology would like it very much. I know tris don't matter too much on in-game models, but I'd still like to try to keep all quads either that or I may worry about it if and when I decide to remodel. I'm hoping to be able to eventually pump characters like this out effortlessly.. and I've got a lot to go for the project I've got planned. in time. finally figured out how to do an omnidirectional-lightsource cubemap. It may have lost the "hard candy" look, but I think it looks schmexy and more satin:   Also made a new timberland cubemap for the visor reflection.
