I actually do know this one girl that loves Star Wars, yet actually isn't a typical 'nerd'. She even supports my sad nerd routines like collecting action figures...

No, because other people have lives outside of the forums. We don't study mandalorian language and collect action figures. And I don't think our hobbies as modelers and what-not should be classified as nerd stuff. It's just a hobby. this is an excellent dvd that goes over the fundamentals of animation, and can be applied to any 3D software or even pencil and paper.
