now that I look at it tail does need a bit more girth, about 25% thicker should be good. may be my final tweak before I start unwrapping and rigging.. now I just have to learn how to do that junk in blender

base mesh is pretty much done, slapped on a material for color accuracy sake

I can help you get this "thing" ingame, can make you a custom bone set and rig him.
Of course animations are up to.

UVW unwrapping is really easy. In any program. It's just time consuming

blender really isn't all that bad, I don't get why it gets such a bad rep around here. the learning curve isn't terrible if you sit down and actually learn to use it. open source, if someone really wanted to I'm sure they could make exporters, I know there's unreal exporters

Wings looks promising, at least for other stuff. We just like 3ds max because of all the haloness it can do, and let's leave it at that.

because I totally want to spend a thousand dollars on a license when a program that I can use for free is just as capable of doing what I need it to

ain't happy with it, but that's to be expected with my first shot at a character model. my edgeflows are nothing like what I'd like, and I've got an odd number of edges around the legs, which creates an inevitable triangle in the feet. once I rig it and start getting some animations done I may rebuild the entire thing around the skeleton. if nothing else this craptastic version can be used as a placeholder.

if I do remake it, I plan on doing high poly sculpting then get a low poly mesh and bake in the normals. didn't realize how much more of a logical workflow high poly sculpting first was, leave it to me to learn stuff way too late

currently rigging. the skeletal system is still a bit overwhelming

You know trials don't last FOREVER right?

There are 14 of them as well as "alternate" ways like what YOU were trying to do awhile ago. THOSE however are not legal. GMax is basically 3ds MAX except it won't render. I am sure there is a way to do it though.

If you know how to get collision working, then do it yourself. If you don't know how, then give it to someone who's willing to do it for you.

Then release would be awesome.

Also i like blender, but i can't model for balls. So i just have a lot of fun using the particle system :D. which is actually really simple and fun once you understand how to use it.

e: I think I figured it out, I must have oddly transformed the mesh at some point. I exported it as an obj and re-imported it and it seems to work perfectly.

expect an update probably tomorrow

The Head's not quite perfect... I'd adjust it so there's only two pixels between the eyes and the top but knowing my luck I would jack it up.
