"except for the scope."

"it may have been modeled from scratch and all that but the general shape is the same as any halo scope. and therefore, is lacking originality."

"if by ''looking like it fits in the universe'' you mean ''obviously hevily based on the original design'' then yes, l'm going to say the scope lacks originality."

Stating it as a fact, not an opinion...

yeah okay bro

so tell me how I was "stating it as fact" as you put it, because it sounds to me like you just don't like what I have to say

lol, maybe next time, SAY SOMETHING. Do you seriously think i'm going to read your quote of Skid? I was reading the PROPER messages. And quite frankly, i can't seem to understand forty percent of that wannabe sentence you made there. Oh and BTW that doesn't hardly even imply that your stating it as an opinion anyways. Now lets get back on topic before "Kind Mr. Dennis Powers" give us all a personal meeting with "The Ban Hammer"

So you want me to lie correct? Well fine, if it'll shut you the crap up.
I'm sorry for trying to open your eyes, so that you could realize you were forcing your opinion as a fact upon others. I am also truly sorry that you could not open your eyes to see this. Most of all i am sorry that you think i'm wrong. Heres the one your waiting for, the big lie: I'm sorry that i was wrong and would not admit it.

oh wow, I'll get back to this "lying" business down below.

I'm sorry for trying to open your eyes, so that you could realize you were forcing your opinion as a fact upon others. I am also truly sorry that you could not open your eyes to see this.

oh okay, so posting my personal opinions and crit on a public message board means I'm forcing people to believe what I want apparently. I could be the next hitler!

Most of all i am sorry that you think i'm wrong. Heres the one your waiting for, the big lie: I'm sorry that i was wrong and would not admit it.

no dude you're right, you weren't wrong. you definitely read my posts and were able to determine that I'd specified that everything I stated was my own personal opinion, and not fact. you definitely didn't call me out for stating "my opinions as facts," despite the fact that I'd specified that everything I said was my personal views. and you definitely weren't wrong about the scope being made from scratch, even though it was a heavily modified halo 3 scope

gg, would play again

Ummm.... no... I never got them...

Also as funny as this has been we should get back on topic before Dennis's Ban Hammer reaches over 9000.

Also if you say the cindergun is anything BUT original... your messed up more then I thought...

The W2000 is a real gun...why do you say "from Black Ops" then?

And I don't see many resemblances other than it's a bullpup sniper ._.

maybe because it reminds him of the way it's portrayed in that game?

There's a lot of flow errors and other minor chips, but I'd like you guys to point out some things too before I compile them all together and show off the whole set.

Gamma, the way you're going about creating force in your animations is wrong. You're making your forceful motions by making the time in between two frames very short. This may look speedy, which is sometimes necessary for creating force, but that method alone is not sufficient. The best thing to do is to create follow-through frames, which demonstrate how the applied force effected the gun. If you don't make these frames, you end up with a yucky and unnatural snap. This is most evident in your spiker reload, and yet the spiker's melee lacks the snap (which makes no sense because the snap is more appropriate for melee animations than any other kind >.> )

Overall though, your progress has been good. Keep practicing.

Personally I think I added too much force. The hand used to pause beforehand but I smoothed it out, then added in much more gun recoil. It's something that's still a major WIP in the overall animation, the beginning and end are about final.

I can never tell, because of the motion blur you have to make it look cool.

Remove the motion blur altogether. All it does is make the animation overly flashy and hides much of the flaws. You won't see the motion blur when it's in Halo anyway.

As for the animation, I don't really like it. It's the overall layout of the animation, where the character moves the gun after the magout, then slams the mag in that bugs me.

However, as I look back on it, I really like how you added a recoil after the mag pops out, and the RTO is pretty nice, as always.

There's blur when I look at it. It's hard to judge how it would look/play like in halo when you have it as an eye-pleasing render. It's probably great, but I can't get a good look at it yet.
