Enjoy finding how bad of a modeler I am for weapons.
I will say I saw a few... um... unnecessary polies and the poly count on this is... a bit big. Feel free to do it over and use whatever you want

oh and there is a readme in the tags folder is just a reminder, go ahead and read it and pitch it. It just is for reminding people to only use complete file replacement if they have the standard halo tags and aren't modified

Try increasing the number of photo-sensitive cells in the back of your eyeball. Alternatively, just increase the brightness on your screen.

everything was from scratch.
I do not even use hek+ not have it on my computer

Tried to get a little bit brighter image.

And by the way, guess how many poly it is.
Clue (this might need some editing in the model before I release to halomaps tags)

Lol, there are some maps out there with the same polycount as that grenade.

I think the original frag is rediculously lowpoly. the reason mine is so bad is that the fragments on the side take up about 1150 of the 1400 polies.

Which, if I would work a bit, I could eliminate some I think.
Actually, I could eliminate a lot.

Hi guys it's me again. I was bored, decided to try and get the poly count on the grenade down and I sort of, remodeled/textured a COMPLETELY NEW GRENADE. Don't know how that happened but hey, I'm now at 900 something faces.

Anyway, I'll just drop this here.
Still a WIP on the textures as you may notice some scratches are too much and some areas need a scratch layer, but I hope to have this ready for release very soon.

Hey, if he was going for realism he would be making blocky stuff with random strips of duct tape holding stuff in place. Have you SEEN some of the weapons that are actually used in combat? My cousin takes pics all the time and I look at some of that crap he sends us and it's like, WOW, how are any of you alive?
His unrealistic proportions or whatever may be making it look weird are what makes his stuff so badass

That's his style man. He can't do much about it.

Looks very unproportioned and uncomfortable to hold. You need to fix that. RDS lacks detail too.

Yeah this model is a little more accurate except scale needs to come down a tad in my opinion. Sorry I should have put in a ref tag so you could see what I mean, but trust me. Needs to come down a tad.

looks way to uniform. make the scratches less like outlines, and get some dirt and grime in those tight places.

Being that I am generous and really don't care who has access to my personal content, I am giving Shade117 pro a shot at texturing it. Though I will still work on one myself simply just for texturing practice. But thanks for the crit, Anything that will help me improve these skills would be much appreciated.
