Time to fix it again :P

Link the left hand to frame gun or any other part of the gun, such that it actually holds the gun rather than clips through the gun.

I recommend linking it to frame magazine, so that when you're doing a reload, the hand moves nicely with the magazine. Since the mag is already linked to the frame gun, your hands will be moving with the gun as well.

randomly came up with this idea last night.....woot random :

its just a v1 concept
its a large plasma cannon. it fires like a aa gun(just a shell in cased plasma round) that is somewhat lockon. remaking it again anyways but any ideas?

Looks amazing. Perhaps an attempt to implement Covenant technology into the UNSC's arsenal? Regardless, wonderful concept. I hope you're planning on getting this thing in-game.

The muzzle brake (which is the size of star johnson's ass) is really big and really cumbersome and really really really ugly. The gun would look much better, and make more sense without a muzzle brake.

at just a v1 proto. im leaving muzzle break cause its more a portable arty then anything.but reducing diameter and making it recoil able.its gonna be completely redone anyways.

to be changed(detailed)

[ ]muzzle break(more of a m1 Abrams break or howitzer)
[ ]shoulder rests and firing assembly
[ ]targeting system
[ ]rear exhaust
[ ]adding plasma cooler
[ ]redoing racking

if i get enough progress ill just do a separate thread for it

FAMAS redux. I'm peddling these out of my ass, but I wanna get these animations done for a project and I need opinions. I'm thinking of going an ODX-way on this one, simply because I loved his famas animations.

I really like my renders, if anybody wants to know my settings, feel free to ask.

Meh, and I'm usually nit-picky about tiny things like that. Then somebody tells me to fix something about it, then it looks perfect until somebody tells me to fix it again



now it looks too much like ODX. needs to be rotated left a tiny bit, but then it would be totally ODX.

ODX would probably beg to differ (except he's not awake right now :P)

The left arm's position's kinda bugging me at the moment. Kinda looks like it's jutting out of the chest, might want to move that to the left a bit. Other than that, it's looking pretty nice.

I like the origins being fat, so that it doesn't seem like the player is holding a thin stick instead of a weapon. It makes him look like he's actually trying to support the weapon instead of swinging it around.

But I fixed the arm problem, and it still looks good for my tastes. Not gonna post it cuz it takes too long to render, and I'm flooding this page.

And I don't get what you mean with 'point wrist thing inward' because I don't know what wrist thing. I just leave the lower arm as-is, because I can't tell if it's looking right compared to the CSS rig.

Looks good. Is that where the shell goes (the top)? Perhaps you could make a pop up scope sort of thing somewhere near those switches or in place of that rectangular handle thing (imagine the rocket launcher in crysis). It can be like a ready animation, where the scope will fold out (or slide out, pop out, whatever).
