numbers_plate.bitmap is what i have. but i cant get its color to change D:< ahh screw that. its more then i bargained for. but if anyone else makes a green one youll get credit in the shader for AR camo :D Edited by abkarch on Aug 13, 2010 at 11:10 PM

yeah but i found it. akbkarch, use gimp. there should be a drop down box for the paint tool (or paint bucket tool too) that has things like "normal", "mutiply", "divide", etc.. in it. select "color" and see if that works.
unfortunately, i cant offer you as much insight on texture editing as i can with other things. its not really my area of expertise E: but just to be perfectly clear here, you WILL have to extract and recompile this bitmap in order to change the color. as far as i know, you cant really just change the color in guerrilla. nah its pretty good if its ur first.needs more detail if possible and fix the smoothing on the handle. also the handle seems too small for the gun, might jsut be the render.and for anyone who wants the nailgun, ima colorize it using materials, so if u wanna unwrap u can separate etc.

Could someone give the MA5B a standard layout, rather than a bullpup design? I was digging through some old pre-Xbox concept art, and found the predeccessor to the Assault Rifle we all know and lov.... know. Anyway, if someone could make this and give it the standard assault rifle's stats, I can modify it back to the original concepts specifications. the pistol wouldn't look so bad if it was a bit different. You got a old west length of barrel on a new age gun which should be short barrel. I suck at modeling weapons though so I may be mistaken.

I liked that tacBR one, except for the fugly reflex sight. Do something along the lines of: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e3/FN_Scar_Light.jpg - Close Combat Optic/CompM2 Its a zero-magnification red dot sight, but it looks like a smaller scope. Don't to something along the lines of EOTech or whatever red dot sight is on that TacBR. To me, those don't look quite right on halo weapons.

no no I agree they need to be wider. What I was going for was a more broken crystalline structure not slender and sleek so much. Oh and I am really no shaderer so, how do I go about making the new needles NOT completely fade out under cloak?

yes but the it doesn't fade at all doesn't it? I thought there was a way you set the fade opacity?

@ Veex Well, I made em wider anyway and I like em that way. But I may still make em longer thatn normal by like an inch or two. I think that may make it look sexy. :D
