I have a problem, like the scenery "balcony base"...
I can't put weapons, ammo or AIs on it.. If try to put on it, it goes through it and puts the stuff on the ground, instead on the scenery I want... Can someone solve this problem?

Alright, then the other question is still not solved. You know I want that 2 encounters can use their firing positions together. Understand what I mean? I want that encounter A can use the firing of encounter B as well. Is it possible?

Hi all, I have a question, I see how the encounters in the single player maps are in touch with each other with firing positions. My question now is, how can I do it? Becuz I need more than 512 firing positions for humans, covenants or whatsoever. And I don't know, but is there an easier way to put firing positions? Or do I really have to click the right mouse button for every single firing position?

yea you are right, every squad has "manuver to squad_a"... But does this affect to the other encounters too? Can you explain me how to do it?

yea that's true but still the way from the beginning to the gravity (below the ship) is still too long.
I saw how they did it. Have a look at the encounter "initial marines" my guess is that that encounter belongs to the marines who are with you in the pelican at the beginning. Look at their firing positions. But their firing positions are just in the area where you normally have to sniper out the covenant. And then if you may have a look at the encounters "marines_area2, marines_area3" etc. their firing positions are in the next combat areas. My guess is that somehow those all encounters are in touch with each other, but how???

got an interesting question to AI following, well I opened some single player maps and looked how the map programmers of HALO made the AI following. I saw that there were severel encounters like on "a50" of marines. According to my knowledge it's just possible to make 511 firing positions, where the AIs can follow you, but the map Truth and Reconciliation is way too big for just 511 firing positions. How did they manage all the following points for just 5 marines with severel encounters?

it's okay i solved it now, the problem was the H2 Battle Rifle, i dont know what's wrong wit it can u tell me? cuz i deleted it and downloaded it again but there is still this problem. it seems like my halo ce doesnt like that battle rifle

try to set your color shade to 32bit if you haven't done it yet... this is the only option left if nothing is wrong with your scenario...

alright thank you but do you have an idea how to extract tags in a faster way? cuz i just can select a single one to extract.. and select one by each... in tag properties.. but that about the tag extraction queue... if i click on start extraction... there is just a text document file! what should i do with it?

well as my problem is, SP maps didn't work well, always crazy music and dialogs, pelicans and so on. So I decided to extract a whole level like "a10" from my original Halo PC (german version) to Halo CE. But i still didn't modify it cuz i just wanted to see whether it works, now this is the debug text...

is there a way to extract a whole folder? cuz it seems like i just can extract a single tag... it's so much work... becuz every single player map seems to be wrong... so is there a way how i can extract a whole folder instead of one tag? And if i click on "file" or something like that, Halo Tag Converter freezes... Then I've got to close it by using Task Manager..

no i neither have any trainer opened or changed the level in any way. I just changed the starting weapons I have and nothing more... All tags for the SP-maps are from this website.

i guess your problem is solved so i hope you allow me to use your thread for asking something.
well guys i have many big problems with single player maps...
you know i can open the SP maps in sapien no problem. And compiling it no problem too.
But if i load the levels (example a50).. The pelican is too high and if i get out and fall i almost die.
And the music stops after a moment and starts again.. And there is no dialog of the marine on the pelican who asks how to get in the ship "The Truth and Reconciliation". And also the next level the silent catograph yea.. The music plays crazy too but here also the dialog of cortana.. it stops and starts again after a moment and this time the pelicans fly under the water ! and they don't land on the beach where they are supposed to do.. And guess the next problem is that neither I or the Marines get out of the pelican ! It's a chaaaos

you mean the fire.sound? well i dont understand it quite... default there is 0.. if i increase it, the sound doesnt get louder... (assault rifle)

thanks dude, but every day i have to face a new problem.. how can i set the fire sound louder or less of each weapon?

yea you're right but you know I need commands to make them run a certain way.
cuz i wanna make a battle place you know, hmm an example on infinity.
Marines and Elites defend the blue base againzt the covenant and the flood.
my idea was that the humans allied with the elites and the flood with the covenant.
so in the blue base there are 2 teleporter gates. I want to make marines and elites spawn right there and run into the middle of the battle as fresh backup. that's why i want to know how to make the command list to work.

EDIT: By the way, I would like to know how to make the AI throwing grenades?
I already looked in their actor variants with their "how likely we throw grenades etc.." but they don't throw it...

yea i modified their actor variants is alright now.. and about your script... i just opened devmode in game and typed it in. these scripts make the AIs able to see the enemy through walls etc right? this way the AI always know where the enemy is and tries to fight it right?
