I want to have the player use a vehicle (warthog) and get close to a door and the door will open without the player having to dismount off the vehicle. I'm unsure if I have to do a script which I would'nt like to do, or if I need check some flag in the one of the tags. Any help will be good.
make sure the class is set to weapon_fire. And im pretty sure your supposed compress it with xbox adcpm.
what type of compression did you use?

I just got back from playing this map. I didn't finish it cause I died and it took me back to the begining. Overall the map needs some work.
Things I didnt like: 1. There was almost no places to cover. The only place I did go in was the spawn then I couldnt get out of it without dying. 2. I saw a h1 plasma pistol. I cant stand the h1 plasma pistol's textures. Change it! 3. The city's shaders don't make it feel like a city with all of the forerunner bitmaps. 4. The city had to little scenery in it. Add some more to make it look cooler and for #1. 5. The smg was op as poo. Literally the only weapon I used to kill the thousands of elites. 6. Magnum was beeter than the dmr. 7. Too many elites, espically sword ones. Replace some with more grunts and jackals. 8. I purchased an entire army of marines. After I came back from the Pak uh punch room, all the marines were frozen. Made me sad... 9. Some grunts had spikers. I would like for you to have them carry plasma rifles instead. 10. Weapon icons need to be fixed. Makes me confused. 11. The jackal's shield was a full circle.
Things I like: 1. I like how you can pak uh punch weapons. 2. Having credits to purchase cool stuff. 3. When you die the whole map doesnt restart. 4. Ghosts. 5. The sniper rifle.
Sugestions: 1. Add some music during certain waves. 2. Boss waves? I don't know if there are any. (I got to the point where there are quads of hunters.) 3. Air support. 4. Add some Brutes. Sometimes killing elites can get boring. 5. Add a carbine variant to the elites. 6. Maybe some sniper jackals. (please no sniper elites) 7. Change the hud. doge. maek the plaier a doge
Overall the map was fun during the first 2 waves. Then when elites came all I did was camp in the spawn. Keep working on it, make version 2 before johnlex does. So I'd give it a 5.5/10 Edited by ericwind on Aug 18, 2015 at 03:00 PM

Base where you leave the red ODST and go to the next level with white odst was heavily guarded with very little ammo for human weapons. It was hard to clear with only needlers, plasma pistols, and plasma rifles.
Tank part had more marines than tank seats, felt odd leaving them behind in that situation
Speaking of leaving behind, when I finished the campaign I noticed there wasn't a word from the ally that wanted to keep them off your back
No point in introducing a lot of the squad at the start for obvious reasons. Try just names and rank I guess
Hunters took 4 rockets to kill (or something like that. I used to 2), what a waste of rocket
Cutscenes need a lot of work, I suggest starting with camera work
Sentinels would be fun to add
Stealth elites did not flinch when shot at, that's ok but NOT ok for sword elites. Its hard to run from someone that is unstoppable in movement
Why is this OS only?
I got a head ache trying to go through the level when there is a locked door and it is explained SOMETIMES. I was expecting the door to unlock when I kill all of them or to press a panel. Try not to mix both ideas in the same map. One or the other
Grunts had issues with breathers, try finding another h3 grunt.
SOI released h3 marines with proper uvw arms, go look for them in his thread!
Overall for someone who joined in 2014 it was pretty good. Keep working on it or use this as a lesson for future maps.
1. Yeah I will get more voice actors soon.
2. I was trying to force the player to use covenant weapons. Besides theres also the carbine <3, and the beam rifle.
3. I got the same feeling, so I decreased the amount of marines.
4. Well if I introduced 1 dude, I mind as well do it for the rest.
5. I'll change that, makes the rocket launcher feel useless if I can't kill hunters quick enough.
6. Cutscenes have always been a pain to work with.
7. I'll add some.
8. ok, I'll make the sword elites flinch.
9. I dont know. It's for my secret doge army
10. Usually the doors open if you press a panel thats in the area of it. If you did press a panel and nothing happened then its most likely a script problem.
11. I didnt really like the h3 grunt model to begin with. I might change it to the reach grunt w/ reach animations.
