Quote: --- Original message by: Tarzan no - there's a reference coordinate plane built into Max. the point 0, 0, 0 is the middle of it. Your movement diamond in SAPIEN will be where you put the object FRAME in MAX. Your floating scenery is because you built it in MAX with the bottom of the scenery above the bottom of the frame. it was placed above the ground so it looks like this? l l l l l l l___l ____ Edited by jjwk544 on Jul 10, 2007 at 10:49 PM

i was confused for a second too. jjwk544 pay careful attention: i dont think they mean the level. they mean you actual scenery. did you make custom scenery?if you do, the point 0,0,0 in max will be the movement diamond in sapien. i knwo it doesnt really make sense but bear with me here. if you made a tree and moved it 40 max units away from the 0,0,0 point, in saipen when u place the tree, the placement diamond will be where the 0,0,0 point was and the tree will be 40 max units away. you get what im saying? its confuzing so if you need clarification, dont be afraid to ask

BTW im going to bed (probably wont be able to sleep i never can when i have a problem). Edited by jjwk544 on Jul 10, 2007 at 11:59 PM

ok what we have been telling you is for scenery which makes no sense. wtf why are we giving him scenery advice? you map. the actual model. go into max, select it, and enter 0 for x y and z. then re-export. Edited by Donut on Jul 11, 2007 at 01:29 AM
