Well I was working on my level when I thought about all the H2 myltiplayer maps but we have absolutely no H2 campaign maps. We have all this talent and all these tags but yet why hasn't anyone tried? Yes I know it would be extremely difficult but once we have all the tags and the basic levels down then we could really own in HaloCE. I have started to make and collect as many H2 tags as possible and it is going well so far. Here is a list of complete tags: Various Halo2 weapons Engineer Grunt (Green) Major Sentinel (Gold with blue beam) H2 elite styled shaders. Ghost (Boost) Wraith Warthog (LAAG, Guass, new multimap and speed values) H2 Masterchief (Mark 6) Update:12/6/07 Sentinel Beam weapons almost perfect. Energy sword now usable! FloodCombats now explode when hit by an energy sword(H2 style!) Ai drive warthogs (newbie stuff)

He wants to make a Halo 2 campaign mode to go along with the maps. Someone made a topic on this a while back, I think that he's doing it.

this sounds almost impossible... the sound tags and thigns would have to be ripped... not to mention attempting to make a boarding script, or a melee lunge script that actually works...

It was a very loud scraping sound, i wish i could figure out how to change their sound to even the assault rifle noise and they would be good in a map. About that scratching noise, I know how to get rid of it.
In the animations tag for the dual SMGs, go down to the Sound References section, and change/eliminate the nonworking sounds.

So I have working SMGs. the Carbine I have is almost perfect just not sounds (borrowing needlers) I know its gonna be hard but if we work together it should b ok. now about the dual wielding, for the moment there is no need for dualling (I never dual in H2 on Xbox anyway) what should we start on? I cant make actual maps I have been having problems with sapien (not I said 'me' not 'it'.)
Now an extra question. How do I make a destroyed model attach to the normal one? like ghosts,wraiths, etc? I am making a warthog become destroyed (similar to H2)

Now I thought that in Gmax I would make a model named ~damaged and make this the damaged variant of the vehicle or or any model. Then I would link the ~damaged version to the frame just like I did with the original.
Also when I goto export the warthog as a .txt file through guerilla the program exits in mid-export.
Well I saw the awesome Hog tags in the halomaps tag page so there is really no need to make new hog tags cept those tags go off of the players shield and health so I need to alter it so they blow up when the vehicle dies not the player.
My wraith needs some tweaking aswell but overall it is fun to blow the crap outof covies.
Thanks Gecko I'd really appreciate the help man.
P.S. I need those Carbine sounds and maybe a carbine scope mask.
P.S.S. sorry if the're spelling mistakes but im typing this on a laptop and I hate laptops.
if I post preview images of tags/levels please do not judge them for their crap quality it is my graphic card, i am hopefully getting a NVidia GForce 6 for my b-day in 3 weeks.

First off the vehicles don't die (if your in it) untill your health goes down and you die and the vehicle has been damaged to the point of no return... also i'll beta i guess since I can check for acuracy.

Child= held/carryed, so I gun would be a child to MC, and a MC would be a child to a warthog, ect. perent is the carryer.. lol. make it so the hog can get damaged without passing its damage to MC, so that depending on whats shot is what gets damaged.. does that help? lol (probly just confuzelated you some more, huh?)

I am a bit lost but no need to break it down Ill copy and paste your post then decipher it in my own time. or ill look at the h1 ghost tags.
Is it just me or has no one made a h2 banshee? i mean CMT made a skin + boost banshee but its still the same ol banshee.
Oh and how do i make a banshee boost? what do i have to edit ? the ghost tutorial is of no help, I can make my banshee boost straight down and not move an inche forwards.
I have altered the minor elites head skin (gave him a h2 makeover.) he/she has a pinkish mouth like H2.
My sentinel tags are almost complete just need some beta testing to help me out graphics wise.
For those of you who reckon no one likes campaign then answer this for me. Why am I doing this project if no one cares or likes SP maps? Just to let you know, my computer has no internet so I cant play MP(cept with myself teehee) the reason I can talk to u guys is coz i sneak on my mums pc/laptop.
Team list moved to first page.
I need those carbine sounds please, PM them to me if possible. and if anyone is brave enough to face this disgusting task, can someone make h2 flood skins? also can anyone reccomend a .model_animations tutorial that works with GMax?

I have been very busy lately so sorry for the halt in production, but I have a new announcement! Elites are almost H2 style all I need to do is detail them. Weapons are comming on nicely and vehicles are too. my Beta map is Ok but I need the pause menu UI tags so can anyone direct me to a download for them or PM me them? I have been working on making an elite Biped for the Arbiter all I need is the model and skins for him and hes good to go along with his HUD tag (purple)
Come on guys lets all pitch in and this may actually work (to an extent.)

Congratulations 'DA-da-da-dee!' now I am in the middle of 3 BETA Levels but the most h2ish I am making is the first couple of rooms of the Spacestation in masterchiefs story (above earth) When its done ill upload and send you a copy of it including some of the h2 tags but I cant send it until I have the solo ui tags for the pause menu guys so please help me out!

Hey Hm, I don't totally get the point. are you making your own campaign or remaking Halo 2's? I just got my new comp so I can beta test if needed.. I got plenty of free time those days anyway. Besides, I have my old modded xbox Lanned with my computers so I can do some file transfers from H2 Xbox if needed.

I can help with this a little I have hog tags that explode pretty good and I know a lot about ai. Also green grunts are gunners not engineers. I have a flood juggernaut model I was gonna look at a tutorial on how to rig it. I also have a good h2ghost, a shadow and a bunch of other stuff. I can maybe model weapons/levels/vehicles if I have time.
