In Gmax, is there a way to find them, if so How?

That's not what he was asking destroyer. to find open edges you can convert your model to editable poly and go into border selection. Select everything in the geometry with the border select, and if it selects anything then those are you open edges. It probably wont find all open edges but it will help. There is also a modifier called STL check that can find some errors but I'm not sure if gmax has it.

no gmax doesn't have the STL error check, but thanks for the editable poly thing.

I was told it doesn't in another thread, and I couldn;t even find it in the modifiers list, but the Border selection works just fine.
