I had to buy a sound card to make the hardware acceleration work 100% correctly. This may enable it, but does it actually work?

Anyone else getting crashes with it? I had an exception after running over an ammo cache several times in a row, had to remove the dll to prevent the crash from continuing.

Could you comment on what this is and how it was made, if you made it? Previously the only way of getting EAX on modern systems unless you had a Creative card was thru buying xfmbi or installing dodgy modded audio drivers.
