Hi everyone.

I'm posting some QUALITY Ai maps which I make for fun.
All of them are fun and balanced & better from many other many maps available around.

1) Why do you make Ai maps??

- Well, Since I started playing Halo, I was always amazed by it's smart ai behavior while playing on legendary. Since, I didn't had internet for many years. MP was like a dream for me. So, after discovering Halo Custom Edition, HEK and this community. I started making Ai maps, after I was bored playing the available maps.


2) Meh, it's just an ordinary Ai map! :v

- Nope, it's more! I try to make the encounters more fun. And all of these maps have SMART ai. please try it, it's worth it!

Are you able to go in a bit more depth on how you made the AI 'smart'?
Also asking because I can't test the maps right this instant but are they reminiscent of Gamma927's AI?
afaic he had the best AI when it came to emulating human behavior

Yes, they are. By "smart" I mean that the ai is quite adaptive and act like they have a brain. They freely roam around the map, just like people do in Multiplayer. And the best thing is that, they are not scripted or follow any commands. They act freely. Also, I maked sure that they throw grenades, take alternate routes, attack the player strategically(thanks to gamma927 and gameuser10 for this). They use the weapons and equipments like they are supposed to & can attack or fool you just like in Multiplayer. Also, they are fun to deal with, and will outsmart you if you take them lightly.



@lolslayer, well, I don't have much free time to post pics or videos. I will surely do that later. I'm posting from my phone btw.

As far as AI goes, these were pretty damn on point.
The map themselves could use with a bit of polish though, the UI elements like weapon icons, discrepancies here and there.

Hey I love your AI! I'm also trying to smart my AI as well but so far I've only enabled them to hold down the trigger, unlimited ammo, and throw grenades. But your AI can melee and maybe jump? :O First things first! How do you do give spartan melee animation? what's your Cyborg AI melee stats in Guerrilla ?

Well, I just swapped the animation graph from an another melee capable biped available in my tags folder :P It's been a while since I build that map. And my Desktop has been formatted 2 times. So, I pretty much lost all of them. BUT I do remember the AI melee stats slightly. It was - Melee range = 3 units
Melee abort range = 5 units
Berserk Melee range = 5 units
Berserk Melee abort range = 7 units (all of these are estimates BTW)

I got the animations from Gameuser10's Ai map- Halo_Skillz. IT'S HIS AI MAP, I DON'T TAKE ANY CREDIT FOOR THIS.

This map crashed for some people out there. It crashed for me also sometimes. Maybe using OS crashes the map. Untick the options\motion blur\extensions\etc, if it crashes. GG

Probable has something to do with actor tag rather actor variant
