can you try to remove phantom bsps and fix the weapon sounds? like when i shoot at the enemies, it doesn't make a sond and it didn't take damage. same for the grenades

At times I feel like the engine is crumbling down because of the amount of action. I shoot a rocket launcher and there are no particles and no damage and it feels really weird.


This also happens on my PC. As far as I have observed, it only happens when there are too many objects in view and also when the PC is over heated.

Try typing on the console Garbage_collect_now it works for some of the errors

It's a tough thing to crack, we did a really good job with it I feel and it will only get better given what we are trying to do. The best thing about removing ghost boost is that I can go into TSC:E and optimize the crap out of it, as before we had trouble even adding a single line of script. AOTCR can be hit or miss, but with the recent patch should be much improved as the crash was a result of some weird bug with a shadow when we deleted unseen vehicles.

The only one that took me by surprise was the one on A30 from people who would go to one area, spawn everything, and run away.

It ultimately did nothing with the added collection scripts. Most of the issues you see with it have to be manually tuned, if you notice even typing it into console only fixes it for a minute or so, we need to treat the causes of those overloads, not requiring users to go into menus.

One of the things we did first with SPV3 was getting rid of that god awful menu that put gameplay critical functions tucked away inside the UI. There is some stuff in the Halo beta I recently acquired that may point us in new directions as to how to optimize the game better, but we haven't fully explored it yet outside of it's basic reports the debugging xbe generates.

no, i did not run it in dev mode
well one way to fix ,this is to start the over, or start A new game with that map.
at lest it worked for me, maybe it will work for you.

Confirm (playing on legendary difficulty). In release 3.0.2 the level "Pillar of Autumn" on the new map in one place, small damage weapons, do not fire a grenade and lost the sound of fire, in release 3.0.0, everything is fine. Also in the release of 3.0.2 on the level "halo" when he saved Marines (in a place where a lot of rocks) after killing all the enemies did not fly a Pelican in the release 3.0.2, everything is fine.

Wait a bit while the map loads. It happens on my PC as well. May be due to seamless loading.

I would turn off Gbuffer if anyone is having problems you get a huge fps boost but you can't use VISR mode correctly but at least for me I mostly use sprint.
