--LINK-- https://www.dropbox.com/s/y3em5i0jnw2x84l/nitra.zip?dl=0 Description: This UNSC ship was once used for battle, but it is now used for combat training. Size: This is a large map. I recommend playing with 12-16 players. Author: PopeAK49 Recommended Gametypes: Capture the flag & King of the Hill I'd like to give a shout out to the SBB crew for beta testing.

That banding effect seen in the lightmap bitmap is so harsh. :( Have any video of you doing this whole thing? I'm at the point where I need to learn that fancy aether crap and currently the only option is reading. Ew reading. Yeah, this was my first time using Aether. It took me a while to get decent results with omni lights. But I could probably demonstrate how to do it on a stream. :)

I didn't really know how to fix this issue. Thanks for sharing. I was thinking of the outdoor setting of Boarding Action. I admit, that I was lazy on some aspects of the map. But I already spent enough time on a simple map. :/ Thanks for the crit. :)

The Dither Type drop down list is there because Halo lightmaps are stored as 16bit images, which means that is has less available colours that a 32bit image. This reduction in colours can result in banding on gradients of colour. This banding can be visually lessened through the use of dithering which fills in the gaps with dots of colour to soften the effects. Whether you use dithering is down to personal preference and is not required.

From images I see some great looking spaces for flag runs and pistol duels! It good to see a well done human themed map, I'm looking forward to playing this!

Congrats! Please fix the broken image links. I'm looking forward to a video tutorial or something that explains the Aether lightmapping process. I've been avoiding it like the plague.

:0 ....I'm such an idiot. I literally just googled "halo ce lightmap banding" and was subsequently sent here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4312 If you browse through the file notes you'll be able to excerpt the paragraph I ripped from thewateryscythe. In short you are not stupid you are learning.
