reinstalled thegame several times, its all glitchy, updated driver several times, nothing seems to be working, if anyone could help me id be greatful

Could you be a little more specific?

1. Is it a legir copy.

2. What type of errors were you experiencing which prompted you to re-install.

3. What OS and gpu config are you running.

4. Does all of halo glitch out? If so what part? And does it screw up immediately or when prompted with a specific task such as loading a map or creating a server.

If you're using nvidia then go to the control panel and set anti-aliasing to be application controlled.

Updating the game to version 1.10 seemed to work for me. Hope this helps!

Besides, t and r are right next to each other on the keyboard, I'm pretty sure you could cut him some slack.

I'm having a similar problem..

Never had any trouble with CE before, but out of nowhere whenever I try to run the game from the desktop or from the folder, it flashes the "Halo" logo, and then puts me back on my desktop. I have no control over anything and I need to Task Manager my way out. I get no errors, just frozen helplessly on my desktop. Any pointers?

You're right, the problem is definitely the "CE Community" and not you.

He was mocking me for no reason, go look at the other posts. How am I guilty of necroposting? I pretty much revived the Halo 2 Backwash project. My motives are not to distract people from reading important posts, neither is it to control the forum. IT IS NOT BLATANT HYPOCRISY EITHER. In my post regarding the thread, I asked why there weren't many Halo 5 tags, I was expecting a normal response like "Halo 5 rocket launcher design sucks". My post to Megasean was about how I value maps more than tags. HOW IS THAT HYPOCRISY?!

He responded to a rather silly question. You had to just look around the website, or use different Google search terms. If you found nothing then something is very wrong with you.

Then you respond with hostility, automatically assuming they are underage due to "mocking" you. In fact, this is ironic due to your rather easily offended nature.
Necroposting is posting in an old, dead topic without acceptable reason (bumps don't count). This is a forum rule.

You asked why there weren't tags: this implies there should be tags, therefore, Sean showed you tags. Now you bash him because you think tags are low value where in reality they're not because without tags, where do you find all those cool weapons in maps, then? What's SPV without tags? How do you make Halo 5 Mods without Halo 5 tags?

You're also a hypocrite for correcting someone's spelling while having multiple errors yourself. It doesn't matter if you edited it out, RIGHT after someone called you out, then you said it doesn't matter, where it obviously "mattered" when you corrected someone's TYPO

In case you are wondering. There were no obvious tutorials on how to make tags, the only resources were from a unknown youtube channel as well as a website I never previously knew existed. I don't consider that a "silly question" for a beginner at Halo Mapping, there isn't anything wrong with me.

I don't believe saying Google is unreliable is hostile. In my post after I was pissed at the fact that I was being mocked by ThatGuyWhoLikesCats. And after that the argument ended. If that is hostile I don't know what isn't. In fact I think it is you guys who are being hostile. Look at Kinnet's post, look at R93 snipers in the Halo 5 thread, look at YOU saying my account is an imitation of "HyperPuke" when it is really just Giraffe with a different username and profile picture. I just read the rules and guidelines and nowhere it states necrobumping is wrong. I bash Sean because in not only Halo forums, but in Sparky's Discord chat room he endlessly spews out insults directed only at me. Yes he is doing something good, but bashing me for no reason isn't the way to do it.

No, I just have not been on my PC in some time. I came back on to an unresponsive CE for some reason. Combat Evolved works normally.

I've had something like this before. It may be something from the game files, or from the My games folder in My Documents. What I did before is delete every single save in the Halo CE folder from my documents. Try it out, and this may fix it.
