Is it possible to perform frame animation on bitmaps?

Yes utilizing a sprite sheet.

However if you are thinking of animating a sprite sequence for say a UI theme I doubt very much that you will be able to pull it off.

Sprites are mainly reserved for effects such as blood splatters and smoke.

And the animation quality is quite linear and choppy at best.

Can you give me link to any tutorial as such? Thanks in advanced.

Again unless some new found method has been discovered I serverely doubt your dream will be bought to fruition.

Apologies for sounding like a debby downer.

I actually made this with the intention of getting it into ce but alas it wasn't possible. :(

Also here are MY tutorials on sprite creation for ce just incase you were still interested.

IIRC there was a tutorial on how to apply animated shaders to models, looking for it rn

Wasn't that a Waffles tutorial?
If it is, it's a damn shame because Dennis took everything out when he banned his old account.

Dunno if we're talking about the same tutorial, I recall it was a texture applied to a box and that it had a smiley face and some colours swapping every second or so

Oh I have that. But it won't help OP.

I'd like the animation to move exactly as it would in the movie.

Basically I'm asking for .bink in a ui :(
