I was searching in google and i found a way to export halo online models.

And i found this:
http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm

You need to excute the game and it will export the entire scene thats is being rendered.

Since my crap *ull*hit computer cant run HO can somebody else check this method if it works?

All the models and textures have already been extracted, and 3D Ripper isn't very efficient.

Tis why I silently have kept all the models and textures to myself while trying to find a reason to go through and set up proper materials for all of them

Must be a pain since I know most of them still use that annoying cc system.

Still you would have better luck emmacd with ninjaripper.

I believe altis used it when she started porting HO assets over to CE before it was cool.

i tore apart their textures and made control maps in a way that's not infuriating. turned like 20 textures into 2

Recording actions in ps can save a lot of time with such things.

I tried doing that but I sound too dull trying to explain stuff, so I usually just help people who PM me on Skype or steam.

No I mean turn on the action recording in PS. Then do a set of steps. Use the action as like a batch command on other images.

A sensible approach it works somethibg like this.

Say I have fifteen images that I want to apply a guassian blur and a hue shift to.

Now I could manually create the same changes 15 times over or I could use the record action which once set to record takes note of each and every operation you commit once you have stopped the recording and played over on another layer.

the only issue with that is that for each weapon its different since different files have a lot of different features, I usually go in and hand pick what seems fit the required texture. Sometimes its easy, others its not.

No actually you can't because both 3dripper and ninja ripper are restricted to capturing indices and frames in dxt 11 or lower.

Halo 5 theoretically would only have support for dxt 12 which may be found only on win10.

The xtracted models over on the 405th suck btw since the OP hasn't discovered MEGA.

If you're getting upset over my extracting those assets without regard for people who might use them for modding: grow up. Not everything is done specifically with modders in mind.

I've said this before, and I'm tired of answering the same questions via PM: I don't put those files up on the 405th for modders. They're there for prop-making purposes for the Halo props community, not for you. If you want mod-ready assets, go get them yourself.
