And that is actually exactly the answer; you export your registry that has your legitimate store bought CD key, and just import it on any PC you want to run it on. Often, rather than reinstalling HCE when I reformat my computer, ill just reimport my registry, since my file partition is different than my OS partition.

For 32bit, the registry path should be

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo CE

and for 64bit, it is

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Halo CE

After exporting it to a .reg file, you can just make a copy, and edit it to the other path so you can use it on either 32 or 64 bit machines.

There isn't any need to copy, or worry about drives; the game only checks the registry for the key, not the install location, but if you did want the registry to point to the correct location, you can have your batch file manually build a .reg file based off the current directory. It's the game updater, and stuff like Open Sauce's installer that cares about those additional things, but as long as its just playing, you only need to worry about having the correct registry location, holding your product key.

thing is you don't know that a pc other than mine is not going to have my account an admin account thats why i want a portable version cause you can't install stuff on pcs other then yours

How are you going to play Halo on that computer if you don't have access into an account?
