Okay, so the numbers I gave you for the map you made for me are, as you probably thought when you made it, too big. They are ten times the number for the tutorial map. I thought that would be a reasonable size, given how small the tutorial map is. However, being a total noob, I failed to bother to actually check how big that is. It's too big. My bridge was too big to render in game or sapien, even when I cut it down by four.

So here's the deal, you remake the map size 10000 x 8000 with a boring grass terrain and I will give you a personal guided tour of Chiang Mai, Thailand if you ever come visit. *

*Assuming you visit in the next month, because after that I am headed to college. Better take the deal now. If you can't visit in the next month, I can give you advice on how to avoid tourist traps.

I'll make a 10000mm by 8000mm map? You didn't specify measurements.

Just curious... what's preventing you from making the map yourself?
I mean, all the tools are available just the same.

I don't know to be honest. Every thing I try ends up with some kind of error. Either an error with exporting to JMS, to the thing not displaying properly in Sapien, or I have in error just in making the model itself. I am sure a lot of these are user created (read: stupidity), but I am only making one map, it just needs to be flat with a minimum of terrain features if any. I just figured it would be easier on my to have someone familar with the process make the terrain and I can add fun toys in sapien easily enough. (read: too lazy to learn)
The design comes in part from the contrast between my brother and I. He hates vehicles, both operating and fighting them, while I love them. For a brief period all of our friends will be in the same place at the same time with their laptops, and I thought it would be cool if I made a map that would appeal to both styles. The ground level will be filled with various vehicles from the community. In the sky there is a large floating bridge connecting two floating bases. There are no ground vehicles anywhere near the bridge to satisfy my brother. There will be lots of air vehicles too, but to compensate the bridge will be well littered with turrets. The bridge will be covered in whatever scenery tags I can find to create an urban environment.

It's so beautiful...

Edit: I broke it...
When I was populating your beautiful map, (thank you for adding all the flags for ctf and oddball and race and all that, because I wan't 100% sure how to do that) I placed my two scenery tag bases as far back as I could see the terrain in sapien. X=0, Y=50. When I complied the map to have a look-see, there was a lot of empty space behind the bases. I returned to sapien and when I tried to move the bases further back, I got an error beep and a do not enter symbol next to the tags name, and the base appeared as if it was off map. When I recompiled it, the base was floating over the terrain as I wanted. When I returned to sapien, I couldn't see the base I had moved off map until I changed its location #s back to 0,50.
Why won't sapien display the whole map?

Edit Edit: I fixed it. I switched to the hobo program, and it displayed the entire map.

P.S. If I switch your sound file out for another of the same name and format, will that break anything? Does it have to be the same length?
Thank you.
