16 man FFA, no squads, on a rotation of all 5 maps, end of the last map, add all points together and declare a winner. Edited by Jobalisk on Dec 13, 2015 at 02:51 PM Dropped. I won't be able to make it at that time anyway, but 16 player FFA? lol

Thanks for the time change, I'll be able to make it now.
Edit: Oops didn't notice that it was on the 17th, well I'll still be able to come.
You should update the op with the new info. Edited by SBB_Michelle on Dec 13, 2015 at 06:05 PM

working on it, I can change the date and stuff, what time would best suit you peeps?
I live in NZ, so time zones are a bit different, I could set it for Saturday the 19th (your 18th) if that would suit you peeps better. Edited by Jobalisk on Dec 13, 2015 at 07:03 PM

17th originally worked out for me. 18th and 19th wouldn't work for me anymore.

sorry about that. I simply thought that a squad based tournament on such short notice would be: A: difficult to set up B: be much more time consuming as supposed to the FFA C: fall through due to insufficient squads. Maybe if this becomes something of an annual event we will do squads next year. As for the straw pole it looks like the 17th is best. (or 18th in my case) Anyway there's still several spots available, so make sure to sign up here: http://xfire.com/tournament/5717 Edited by Jobalisk on Dec 14, 2015 at 01:44 AM

I'd like to know how you're going to guarantee slots for everyone in the server based on who signed up on the xfire page.

Anyone around here interested in helping me make sure I understand the whole dedicated server thing: it'd be great if you could add me on steam Skidrow925 or "Conan the Librarian" or just go to my steam page.I don't know how long I'll be testing it, but help would be fantastic as I figure out the wonderful world of HCE Dedi servers.

ok, if you want it on the internet it mus be publicly visible, if public is false, you end up hosting a LAN game. as a countermeasure, use a password that only people you want on it know.

ok, server is now up, its called the Halo Custom Edition Comunity TOurnament server if your taking part, check XFire for a message. I will be posting the results of each round and the overall winner on this thread. The server will be reset at 11.00 (2.00 pST) for the beginning of the tournament Thanks to those who played, (or at least turned up.) The winner is SBBMichelle also, here's a short vid from before it started: https://youtu.be/HT8XX6Rnttc Edited by Jobalisk on Dec 17, 2015 at 05:39 PMEdited by Jobalisk on Dec 17, 2015 at 05:40 PM

Since the tournament has concluded, I have opened up the server for public access, cycling all of the maps played at the tournament.
You can join it at: 173.0.146.109:2500
I hope to do more tournaments like this, with better coordination of course.
Go ahead and have some fun guys!

What, you don't even have chat for your game fixed? Use custom_chat 1 with hac2, or install the msxmlenu from the redist folder.
