Hello dudes,

So, my precious GTX 580 that I had for 5 years decided to kick the bucket yesterday. Unfortunately, I could only buy a cheap geforce 730 for $50. After installing the new card, I tested out some of my games and they worked fine. However, Halo Custom Edition will only load and then stay 'minimized', displaying my desktop. I can only hear the main menu music.

I tried reinstalling halo custom edition, messing with the nvidia control panel, and updating my gpu drivers.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

are you using the correct (and primary, don't forget primary ! ) output port on your new GPU ?

(Also, if you're using a DVI>HDMI converter when there's a native HDMI port on the card, definitely use the native HDMI port instead, this prevents the resolution from changing when the monitor sleeps/offs)

start halo in safemode and reduce resolution.
