Hey. for any of you who downloaded the winter smith campaign. the version that is on the website currently is an old one that I uploaded by mistake. The final version should be online sometime soon all going well. so I would recommend waiting for it to be uploaded rather than playing the one that is online. the version up currently has several flaws and is incomplete as, although it is completable I didn't have the objectives or way-points added in as of that time. (there are also many, many other flaws I later fixed.) so for the sake of not ruining your experience of the campaign, please do not try the version currently online.

Well if it's even remotely like the old one or that other SP map Guardian Forest you won't have to worry about people downloading the wrong one.....

Not being a dick about it and using that advice to make something better might make things better.

I'm sorry but there not good, they're kinda horrible.
From the BSPs to the guns, from delayed grenade throws to the fall damage.
Even the supposed remake of a lost H3 level uses H2 tags....

And the file size of your Wintersmith was like ridiculous to what was in it.

You should of asked about opinions and showed of pictures before release, and you could of had some help. But now this will be forgotten within a week, sorry

Firstly, wintersmith is actually 8 maps. that's why it's so big. as for the delayed grenade throws. blame bungie and their marine animations. to put it simply. this was the first single player map thing I ever made, and it was about 3 years ago that I made this. It's not perfect. It's a long way from perfect, but it is enjoyable, if you can manage to look past it's flaws. I'm not CMT, I don't have a team of talented individuals to help me make this, all I have is my own skill set.


Remember, the point of this forum was to tell you that the version currently uploaded is not the final version, I accidentally uploaded the wrong version. and although it still has problems. (IE, the BSP's and delayed grenade throws) it is much, much better then the one currently on the site.

If you don't like it, don't play it. No one is forcing you to do so.
