Does anyone knows how to make AI bots walk around the map without fighting, or just standing there.. doing nothing. If some would share that information with me, that will be great

you can either use command lists points or move possitions. Just make them all the same unit type to keep them from fighting.

have you played the map City 17? that has civilan AI, though they dont look like it, they move around & stop & blah blah blah, just rip the entire map's tags & open the map's scenario to veiw the AI settings.

if you are using move possitions just set the ai's to "moving randomly"

to get the ai tags rip the campaign levels with HEK+. for your use just rip A10.

yes the maker just wanted to feel important by protecting it. And the maker actually thought his map was sooo great lol, thats why he protected it. the AI in city 17 is nothing special.

you have to set up a command list "teleport" for them to be able to do that. But it's a false teleportation i believe. they hit a point and then teleport i think so it looks like they go through the tele. I have not tried a command list teleport. But you would have to set up command list movement points for then to walk to the teleport and activate the command "teleport" when they hit the point.

Don't worry about command lists. In the squad thing, just set the initial state and the return state to moving randomly. Place random move points and they'll randomly walk abound.

yes he did not follow the conversation did he lol.

yes you would need to learn command lists to get them to "teleport"

go to halomaps and search for this tut "better_ai_part1" (without quotes). it shows a basic command list setup, but does not cover the more advanced commands.

with command lists you can make then shoot while moving, you can make them jump and even teleport and many other things. you can make very long and complex command lists.
