Hi sorry for bad grammar, english is not my 1st language but I'll do what I can. I was wondering if u can help me to understand what just happened to me. sorry if I wrote a lot but I would like to be clear.
I was having 2 installation folders of CE, one "portable" just to have an extra folder, in this one I decided to have all my maps, its weight was about 35GB.
and just for OS purposes I installed the official version of this site, it was patched to 1.10 but I never used that installation folder, it was a mess, optic by sehe, ping overlay or something like that, many mods there, I started using the portable one.
2 different installation paths ok?
Today I decided to uninstall the official version just to start over again from 0 and to test the new TSC:E release, and keep my portable as my 1st option.
The problem I can't explain why it happened starts here. I uninstalled the official version, installed again, everything ok but until I decided to put again the U-UI 1.1 (I was going to copy it from my portable maps folder) I noticed that the maps folder from my portable path DISSAPEARED!
so, here's my question, why the uninstall procedure from the official game removed my other maps folder from my portable path, since this 2 paths are totally different?
I hope you understand what I want to explain, and if there's a way to recover those files? because man! it was a lot!

yes, its true... the portable its for example (e\: halo.exe) and its maps are on (e\:maps\) folder. putting the ui map doesnt preserve its original path. so you can move all the folder on the oficial halo directory or play it on the portable one.
