Well maby halo 5 will get more maps then usual this time. With the beta alone containing 7 maps, you would think the full game would have atleast twice as much. If this is the case I wouldn't mind a few classic remakes.

knowing that the best tracks for halo4 were released early and the rest were sortof soso compared to it......... i hope they havent released their best content early to get us all excited for the final letdown.......... hate to say that halo 4 is not a game i played to the literal last rank possible...

Yeah this is unacceptable if there aren't a good number of maps.

The grass in the top picture still looks like trud. 343 needs a new way of putting grass in. Get some AA or higher resolution guys

Ah, the name of this map is foreshadowing my emotions when I buy this game.

Watch "The Sprint" on the Halo channel. This is intentional. It's literally what they call a "remix" of the map. I personally think of it as a really well-made and funded mod. I feel like they're doing this that way they aren't overshadowed by the MCC's 100+ multiplayer maps, or they're pulling a stunt like bungie did with Destiny.

"Well, let's just have the SAME MAP with DIFFERENT LIGHTING that way a newcomer who hasn't learned the layout yet is fooled into thinking there are more maps than we are actually offering!!"

I'll be surprised if 343 can match any of Bungie's amazing multiplayer level designs. Theres a reason theres so many remakes of their maps and the earlier ones - because they are very good.

I actually find that method pretty interesting. Another game I play, Heroes and Generals, has exactly 4 maps. But you see, they're very big and rather detailed, so what the developers do is construct several different chains of objectives to provide a new experience to the player - ie, attacking vs defending from numerous angles over different terrain...tons of new possibilities present themselves. In this way they managed to keep it fresh with limited work on environment creation in order to concentrate their efforts on squeezing every last penny from cash players.

I can't say I'd really mind this approach regarding level design in other games, but I guess it would set something of a troubling precedent. Not really applicable to Halo, though, given the arena shooter setup. That always bothered the strategist in me since it's impossible to really defend or hold ground. Objectives don't really help that either - just creates an artificial reason to be there at any given time.

But I digress. Halo 5 is bad, or whatever you guys were going on about.

I think it will be good, but in my opinion this is just kinda... wierd?

People are so narrow minded. The game sucks because it isn't being made by Bungie, despite any reviews or being able to actually play it yet.

About 343i, they did very good game, in terms of modeling, environment and gameplay. Stop criticizing them. Halo 4 which has been one of the best.

Secondly halo 4 is the black sheep of the Halo franchise. The campaign wasn't bad, but EEEEWWWWWW multiplayer.

The MP can be just fine with the right settings, my experience in it with MCC has been pretty good, as they removed a lot of the things like custom loadouts and weapon drops. It's got some of the best objective gametypes in the whole series IMO.

HALO 4 IS THE BEST HALO OF ALL TIME!!!!1!

The MCC includes the four best games of all time, but I can only find three of them. :(
