I have one very important question to ask; how would one add real time Flood infection to Halo Custom Edition via OS?
At this time, I don't know how to do that, and I don't believe I have the required resources.
What is needed for this?

I've used the choking victim thing that OS provides to make unit infections. Pretty neat. I was told that the next version of OS will have the infection involved things changed so I would wait before using it. http://youtu.be/5fNRoES4spY pretty much like that. You can choose what can get infected You can choose who infects You can choose what to attach to the AI while s/he is being infected. You can choose an effect that plays. You can choose the health threshold for when the unit can get infected. As far as I know, there isn't an option to play a certain animation. Still pretty fun. This isn't limited to flood. Giving a plasma rifle elite the ability to kill a marine and turn him into another elite that can do the same. Elite vs marine, who ever gets a kill takes that AI to their side. Now I haven't done that but I have done flood infection. And again, I would wait until the next OS version. Basically 10 years or so. Edited by Spiral on Dec 17, 2014 at 08:50 PM

I think the game crashes when the biped being infected dies before he's "converted."
