Switch to a windows opr system?
HAC isn't exactly stable with any outside system. It could be something simple as a bad installation. (Copy the "Loader.dll" into the "controls" folder.) C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\controls I'm not exactly sure what the syntax for linux is... Edited by SS Flanker on Nov 30, 2014 at 11:41 AM |

You'd triple your minimum CPU GHz and ram requirement just to emulate this game on Linux? ?

Hey, maybe the guy just doesn't want to use friggin' Windows. I sure don't. Windows is terrible. But, kinda stuck with it for most of the things I want to play.
Short answer to OP - I've never had much luck getting anything more fancy than a default Halo CE installation to work. OpenSauce doesn't like WINE setups one bit. It's frustrating for sure, but at least you can dual-boot if need be. |

Thank you to answer my question,the error name is (error 168)
I using wine 1.07 with Halo CE 1.10 update + Hac + open sauce, I can running the game under to halo ce 1.09, I was installing visual basic and framework, And...i have Enable the 3d aceleration |

I am sorry i have another in halo ce 1.10,the number error is 126 (error 126) and i can't see the hud of life,any idea? :/

HAC can work fine under WINE as long as things are set up properly.
Look for WINE related comments in this thread and try the suggestions. |
