I have been at this a while, I'm decently proficient with bitmap creation and editing.
This is the first issue I've ever had of this kind with tool, and it's very strange because it's not really an "error" per se...
I have been trying to make a new waterfall texture, using the alpha channel for transparency yadda yadda. The issue is that when I save the image with the normal parameters in photoshop (keep in mind this is ONLY an issue with this particular image...even copy pasted into a brand new PSDocument), tool is unable to find the resulting .tiff.
I can open a Windows Explorer window and find the file, open the file, edit the file, it's definitely there. It's not that tool even says that it's the wrong type, it just can't seem to be able to tell that the image is even there.
Anyone else had this issue, or have any suggestions at all? At this point I've tried everything I can think of, so I've come here to this den of vipers for help :P Edited by NeX on Nov 7, 2014 at 03:31 PM

99% sure it's because the file extension of your image is ".tiff" rather than ".tif". Tool's stupid like that. Error look like this? Edited by A Juicy Frank on Nov 7, 2014 at 05:29 PM

LOL yes, it was an extra "f". I actually found it right after I posted this, I'll walk away now with flushed cheeks.
