does anyone have a dawn of war 1 ripped space marine model (as in a 3d model, I've already got plenty of the other sort) they could send me (as in a ripped one, not a custom build) I've seen a halo mod where you play as a space marine. but unfortunately I can't find where you download this file. (as in one where you play as a space marine, not the mods with 40k weapons, I know where to get those)

It was made by someone a while ago and never released. The guy left the community before it was ever made available for download.

I know there's a map on halomaps somewhere where you play as space marines and you can drive a monolith. I think the map I remember was just a sidewinder rip.

You play as a standard Spartan, but there are several W40K tags.

yes, that's the one I mentioned in the first post, however, It doesn't solve the question of where can I get hold of space marine tags?

As Tiel mentioned, I don't think you can. Weapons and vehicles are all that's been released, to my knowledge. The next best thing I can think of that wouldn't require learning how to model would be to reskin a Spartan biped and give it a W40K-esque aesthetic.

the model has been ripped from dawn of war and put into halo, I know it can be done, I would do it myself but although I have the model file for the dawn of war character I can't import it into gmax because the script the does the job doesn't work on my computer for some reason. I am simply wondering if someone else has ripped the model and turned it into a gearbox model or if someone has a copy of the map I mentioned in the first post that I could rip it off.

google is your friend. find out whats compatible with that file type and what isn't.

Also your biggest mistake is using GMAX. Whats the filetype you're trying to open anyways?

no, you misunderstand, I am using a special script to import a .whm file into 3ds max. this is legit, many people have done it before and it is how the guy who makes the maps with the monolith gets his models (hes actually got working animated Necrons in one hes working on now) Its just that for some reason my version of 3ds max won't run the script. It imports the skeleton fine then errors out.

I already got the dow 2 space marines ingame ages ago with animations and all
but doing d2 things in illegal to show publically and im not kidding.

The space marine tag isnt around for its illegal for those models weapons and vehicles is less cared off

Atm im just dow modding since dow to dow isnt illegal
