Working on a sky but i cannot seem to get the regions to draw in the order that i want. Should draw the sky behind the island? right?

oh nvm Edited by altis94 on Oct 8, 2014 at 03:28 PM I'm not sure if this would be of any help what-so-ever. But effect.tags overlay particles above one another based upon the layering system of your particle tags. The bottom particle tag, within the particle list usually draws above all other particles. I.E Let's say I wanted smoke to draw above my muzzle flash. And it looks like this: Particle: heavy_flash_1 electric_ring_a energy_bind soft_smoke_pistol big_heavy_muz I would have to rearrange the particle tag list to this in order to get the smoke to draw on top of all the other particles: Particle: heavy_flash_1 electric_ring_a energy_bind big_heavy_muz soft_smoke_pistol (If that didn't make sense, I am too cheap to upload a screen shot)

I know how to do this!
So the number you put in front of the object name doesn't seem to make a difference - what decides render order is the order in which you link the objects to the frame. Just unlink all objects and relink them in the order you want (not sure if it's farthest or closest first, but it should be easy to test)
Try that and let me know if it works.

Elaboration: I tested this quite awhile ago, but I remember the trick to getting it to work was to unlink everything and re-link in order. If the number-prefix does anything, I couldn't figure it out.
EDIT: Also, this method was testing using the Blitzkrieg exporter. With Bluestreak 1.2 you may need to set up your regions differently. I believe there is a guide in the Bluestreak/CAD exporter download (v 1.2 iirc). Edited by stunt_man on Oct 28, 2014 at 05:19 PM
